LOOK BACKWARD
Back then in the university we came into school,
when I got admitted to the 'department of Statistics', the course I have ever wanted and I was so happy
But unfortunately for me the course had to be changed, and I cried my eye balls out, now am happy with the course,God actually has the best plan for us.
Then in the university, people from different background and different characters, we lived together in the hostel. We were packed in one room like sardines (6 persons in a room), such is hostel life. Everyday one thing or the other happens, it is either some ladies are fighting down stairs or some are catching fun, playing music, dancing or playing games, lots of activities. As a tenant in the hostel, you must expect one thing or the other everyday.
Bang! Bang! Bang! A hard knock on the door, and we checked, behold the hostel authorities in our room. Someone's school fees has been stolen and the report got to them, so they had to intervene. I just came from a 'work out' which was organized by our physical fitness lecturer as a continuous assessment for every 100 level student.

I was so weak and tired with the hope that I will have a very good nap, but getting to my room, it was an ugly situation. In a room of 6 persons what do one expect, since we are from different places and of different characters. The authorities gave the thief time to return the money, but it was never returned, until 10:00 pm in the night they returned and carried everyone of us away to the security unit, and that was how the thief was fished out. We lasted for hours there and we later came back to the hostel by 1:00am the next day.

Finally, it is all now a story to be told, most of us are now graduates, some couldn't make it, they died, some of us are now Entrepreneurs, some are outside the country, some are married with kids. This is how time flies, change is ever constant.
Thank you for sharing this story. In a way, likely the way you tell it, it feels like a great time. One filled with action. The six in a room... the imposdibility to catch some decent sleep... I've been there.
I love those happy photos you posted and hope somehow you are still in touch or will find a way to meet again.
That time is part of how you all are today.
P.s. I'm surprised how they dealt with the stolen fee. Might be a bad experience but it is good they took it seriously. That wasn't the case at my school. They rather blamed you for not being careful enough.
