Looking Back Looking Forward 4.30
Looking back to the time my country was so peaceful. That one could walk around at any hour of the day. There was a lot of merry making. People just enjoyed themselves. The farmers of the southwest, the northwest, the east, the west and the south made the economy go round.
Everything was good because the kids could go to school everyday.
But since the war started 6 years ago everything just took the reverse direction. The children in the villages don’t go to school anymore. The farmers lands are being used as a war front.
Looking into the future I don’t know what to expect. It’s really heartbreaking not knowing when all this will end. It’s so disheartening and debilitating to think about it.
We just keep hoping for the best everyday for our country Cameroon.

Wars are bad and more wars coming everyone's way. War is business and many sacrifice for?
I hope in the villages people will start communities where children can learn reading, writing, history, geography, it. It is possible. We can share our knowledge and skills. Humankind didn't get this far because they visited school. Many rich, famous people were dropouts.
If children learn nothing we as a parent and society made this happen. I know my children learned more from me than at school. Sad but true.
