Sounds as if Christmas is better celebrated than with us. I mainly see lonely, depressed people and like you I try to stay away from negative energy. It's more healthy to surround yourself with positive people.
Negative people radiate unpleasant feelings and a bad attitude, so it's best to keep them away from me.
