A tour for the poor.

It's quite unexpected you show up on my doorstep. No lockdown with you?
You have only one day you say? I hope you have your camera with you because one hour means you need to keep moving if you like to see something at all. Let me get dressed first.

Here we go. We cross the street and avoid the rainbow crossroad. It's a sign all kinds of people are welcome but this crossroad isn't official which means cars do not necessarily stop.

Around this square, you find all kinds of shops. You can enter them if you like. No need to wear a face mask but you need to keep distance which means 1.5 meters. Try to stay out of the way of as many people as you can. We make a game out of it. "Avoid the human". Be aware they have apps these days and you are registered, if you get close to some sick person you're staying here will take longer as one day only.

You had breakfast yet?
Let's go to the Coop supermarket. You can have your free coffee or tea over there. With some luck, you can taste the free cookies. No need to buy anything. They have free wifi if you like to send a message or read your email. Btw here is a Pokemon stop too.

Another supermarket.
They claim to be royal and they did earn well during the lockdown. If you want to buy something use the hand scanner and scan what you buy. You can don't with their app too but you need to download it first. Here they do not like you to infect them.
They have free fruit for children. Hmmm, you look like a child to me, take a banana.

Do you want some more coffee or tea? It's free here too but you can't sit down. You can take it with you outside. No! Do not throw the cup into that trash can can. It's meant for dog poop only.

We will walk through the shopping street.
You are free to take photos. At the end of the street, you'll find another supermarket and some old houses and buildings. They show what it once looked like over here.

You could use a clean shirt.
Lucky you it's Saturday. The free shop is open. They have clothes, should, plants, books, all kinds of stuff and the great thing is you can just take it without paying. It's a kind of shoplifting with permission. Not only for the poor but for all of those who do not like to waste anything. Do not forget to keep the distance!

Wow, you really like shopping. Good, you didn't need to spend money on it. These are souvenirs you say? That's fine with me. Look they have postcards as well.

This huge yellow building is a supermarket as well.
It's better and cheaper than the former one. Once you are inside you can rest. They have free coffee and tea too and a bench where you can sit. It's too hot outside anyway.

Well, it's 10 o'clock if you like you can take a nap. We do not have a beach nearby or riverside and the garden is meant for the dogs but you can stretch out on the couch after that we can visit " The inventory". It's made by an artist out of stuff people throw away. It's worth visiting, partly an animation park and if you like you can make something yourself. Better charge your phone before we leave.

No, it's not far so we go by bike.
Again no need to wear a face mask but you need to keep a distance. Yes, on a bike too. Our PM says it's the new normal. Not being close, no touching, etc unless you belong to each other's Corona Crew. Better switch off your blue tooth so no one can spot you.

That was fun, wasn't it? Do you like a sandwich?
It's time to leave so we can join a meal together before you have to leave. You can go by train if you like. I can not guarantee it's clean but it's cheaper as a cab and the station is inside the airport building. No worries there's a site where you can buy your ticket, tell you when to leave and we have a train station.

What is it you like for dinner?
Pizza? Really? No, we are not going to Domino's. This is the worst one in the world. Don't you like to try some snacks Dutch people love? Alright. We go over there and you can choose where you like to sit. In- or outside. No worries, no one will steal the bikes or rob your bags if you put it down.

It was good to see you.
You can have a nap on the train. Do not forget to wear your face mask or cover your mouth and nose. In public transport, you have to because the owners are too greedy to invest and give travelers more space. No worries the train it's last station will be the airport. You cannot miss it.
