Creatures

Honesty is beyond most people’s reach. People lie, take advantage, manipulate and abuse others. And they even lie about that. The interesting thing is that literally everyone claims this is the most despicable thing that can happen to a person, yet they happily go along with it. After all, it is not honesty that lasts the longest. Anyone who wants to be – or is – rich and famous lies constantly, so why shouldn’t the little man? Why not lie to the person you love most and who protects you no matter what?

Do birds of a feather stick together? If only that were true. In reality, this is rarely the case. Followers rarely have an opinion of their own; they follow out of fear, not out of conviction. The bully’s rule applies to them too: if you won’t listen, you’ll have to learn the hard way.
Society and family are the number one forces for crushing individuals – people with their own opinions.

Lost souls are not only to be found amongst the dead, but more often amongst the living. Those who have been cast out by society, denied attention and love; those who have never felt at home or safe anywhere. How simple it would be if, like animals, people simply concerned themselves with eating, drinking, sleeping and surviving.

Even if there’s no way in this life, I wait for you. Blood is thicker than water, and the heart pays no heed to propriety or the rules imposed by society or family. What is it about humanity that drives us to constantly tear others down? What pleasure is derived from this? Self-hatred? A lack of self-esteem, a growing hatred often instilled by others, or are psychopaths and narcissists in the majority?

The night creatures at daylight – we only like that in films and during carnival and Halloween. In real life, anything that doesn’t suit us or is different is avoided like the plague.

Red card! People are only too happy to reap the benefits of a paradise built by others, but are unwilling to do their bit to maintain it. Low IQ? It must be, if you don’t understand that everything and everyone needs care. If this happens, you’ll soon be living in the same mess you left behind in your own country.
