Orangy floats
My looping feels swing me around fiery rages
I'm spiraling, breathing, deeply looking to quench my blazes
I feel the burn of every rejection
Shun orangy cheer to revel in my dejection
The morning sun tries but I'm annoyed by the cheer
In irritation, I would roll my eyes and jeer
I do not want my black mood diffused
Swaying oranges my nose infuse
My black mood would be coaxed
Even as I remind it, ‘this could very well be a hoax
I don't stand a chance against this mothering warmth
Orange mood it is then, my now light body is ready to be swathed.
An orange mood is better than a black mood?
Thank you for joining this contest. 👍
Not better. Every mood should have a timeout.
