Everyone's got their own. This C is for no ordinary cup. The cup here is in our minds. The cup of life, you could say.
I've been seeing, on social media, videos of people saying adulthood is a scam. Then yesterday, in a chat, my friend said something of the sort. So I disagreed and she wondered why. Isn't adulthood showing me? It's not.

Not much I didn't see coming. I didn't see adulthood as something easy watching my mom work and take care of all of us. Apparently, she, my friend, had been told different. According to her, the adults in her life had told her that all her difficulties would ease up once she grew up, found a job, got married ...

The reason for all the adulthood na scam Talk was that you would be responsible for yourself and your parents wouldn't be feeding you anymore. Why would anyone want to put that burden on their parents for longer than necessary.

I think that's a too negative and not at all helpful to the challenge of being a responsible adult. What we should be is excited for what's coming. May be peace be with you.
