The topic of this week is… "What do you do with your favorite aromatic plant?"
La planta de albahaca apareció en mi jardinera hace unos años, vino seguramente en la tierra que compre en el vivero. Primero lleno mis porrones y luego apareció en la jardinera de afuera de la casa. Yo la deje, se puso enorme y mis vecinos comenzaron a pedir permiso para tomar algunas de sus hojas para agregarlas a sus salsas para pastas.
The basil plant appeared in my planter a few years ago, it surely came in the soil that I bought from the nursery. First I filled my jugs and then it appeared in the planter outside the house. I left it, it got huge and my neighbors started asking permission to take some of its leaves to add to their pasta sauces.
En diciembre coloque algunas plantas pequeñas en envases de mantequilla con un letrero para los vecinos que era un regalo. Ellos se las llevaron muy contentos. Pero a muchos se les secaron, así que volvieron a pedir permiso para tomar hojas de albahaca de la jardinera. Con la facilidad que se da en mi jardín mis vecinos no han logrado que sus plantas vivan.
In December I put some small plants in butter containers with a sign for the neighbors that was a gift. They took them away very happy. But many of them dried out, so they again asked permission to take basil leaves from the planter. With the ease that occurs in my garden, my neighbors have not been able to make their plants live.
La planta de albahaca es un toque delicado he increíble para la salsas en las pastas. He leído que se pueden preparar té que son beneficiosos a las personas que sufren de algunos problemas: ayuda a combatir el estrés, ayuda a reducir los dolores de cabeza, mejora la salud respiratoria, mejora la digestión y protege los riñones.
The basil plant is a delicate touch I have incredible for the sauces in the pastas. I have read that teas can be prepared that are beneficial to people who suffer from some problems: it helps fight stress, helps reduce headaches, improves respiratory health, improves digestion and protects the kidneys.

Realmente tus plantas de albahaca están hermosas. Para qué van a sembrar los vecinos si tienen esas preciosas allí prestas para ser regaladas a quien las necesite. Es una gran ventaja tenerte como vecina.

What a pity the Basil you gave did not survive at your neighbours. Out of each herb you can make a drink although tea is officially what is made out of the tea plant.
I never use basil in my pasta sauce but recently bought a herbs plant. I am not sure it will survive. Most plants die here too.
If it's the last one, my neighbors don't get it and here it comes out with incredible ease. Those leaves in the pesto sauce for spaghetti is one of a kind. Still in tea I have not tried it, I think I will do it this week, it hurts to remove leaves from my beautiful plant basil (albahaca)

I can imagine it hurts to take the leaves but also those plants died. Perhaps they should need to be taller first? Let me know how drinking it tastes.
