Contest 4.22 Looking Back/Look Forward #ccc
I remember that my mother gave me a nice watch as a gift, which cost her an arm and a leg at that time.
then years later I went to live with my husband and then I had my children. Unfortunately my mother began to have a disease called Parkinson's disease, she began to lose the mobility of her body, she trembled but very little.
then, little by little she was losing her speech, to the point that to listen to her I had to place my ear close to her mouth.
After a while, she passed away, it was an immense pain when I found out, my children, nephews and brothers suffered a lot from her sad departure.
Now, years later, the same watch that my mother gave me when I was 15 years old, I give it to my daughter, a watch that will pass on to another generation as an excellent memory of what was once my mother's best gift.
My mom uses it and feels that it has been like a lucky charm. She says that having that watch, she has her grandmother and me in one place and she takes it everywhere with her.
11 years have passed since her death, 11 years that I have not seen her. However, I remember her, she always accompanies me as well as my children.
she will always be in the present with us, in our memories, in special moments, on every birthday, at home waking up she will always be present.
A watch. I remember the first one I had. It was special in those days for sure. Since years I no longer wear one.
Thanks for sharing this precious memory.
These are beautiful memories you have of your mother. I also have objects that my mother gave me in life.
