Yah, radio stations tend to repeat songs within the hour. You can probably hear the same song 5 times or more a day. Ah the days of walkman and discman :) Sweet of your daughter to burn you some songs. I used to sit in the dark, in front of a radio cassette player and wait for my songs to be played on air before hitting the record button.
A cassette player was great too. I still have cassettes. Kate Bush and some others. My records are partly lost and a part I gave to my eldest. I still regret that. I played a record endlessly and it was a better quality as the cd and DVD.

It is hard to find cassette players now. I have many cassettes but all my players are spoiled. My parents had records and a record player but I didn't try playing it. Now, I do not know where they are. Should have kept them. That is my regret. Take care there @wakeupkitty <3
The last walkman I bought was in Germany perhaps 6 years ago it was new. At that time it was not sold in the Netherlands since years. Perhaps Aliexpress or Wizz sells them?
Record players can be bought again. My two youngest have one including USB and something else. My eldest has old record players also part of the vintage collection (at home and shop).
