I hope you were able to rest on your day off. Sometimes it's necessary to disconnect from everything, especially when you're not feeling well.

Not really, yesterday I felt exhausted after more painting doors. At least it looks more clean now and so does the kitchen. My youngest bought plastic baskets and most things in the cupboard I put inside so I don't have to see it (or clean it due to the smoke of the fire). It's not finished yet but a huge step forward.
Today the youngest and I intend to take care of the garbage and do some shopping plus I offered months ago to practise parking the car here and there in different ways with her.
Fire? I hope that's just a metaphor, or that the insurance covers all the damages. You have to take things one step at a time so you don't get exhausted, at least that's my Homer Simpson-style philosophy 😆
We have to make a fire to keep the place "warm" and fire causes smoke inside.
I never knew Homer Simpson has some philosophy to share. He looks rather dumb. I prefer Cartman (South Park). Smart and nasty kid.
Oh right, wood-burning fireplaces. My grandmother's house had one. Which was a mystery because it doesn't get that cold in Paraguay, and only mansions would have had them back then. Yes, Homer is quite silly, so I came up with that philosophy inspired by his laziness. I like Cartman too. He's quite a character.
Can it be she used the fireplace to cook?
Homer is just a bit toooo slow for me. It beats me how he could be married but I guess some women like men with fewer brains.
🥴
I don't think so, because the top was not clean and all the smog enter to the house. It would was really nice could used it in the coldest days but nobody does the cleaning fireplace work. Anyway that house was sold many years ago.
