That indeed is an unpleasant surprise. Did he forgot the key inside the house? It's always good to have an extra keys elsewhere to avoid these costs.

    No..not in the house...He left the house in my in laws house which is over 100 km away...
    You are right! We have finally made 3 keys to avoid this kind of Incident.
