I'm really intrigued by this contest. Here's my 300 characters on today. Written in form of a poem is my views, frustration and optimism About today.

Today is yet another day
A carryover of yesterday headache.
Yet fresh determinations I make
A cup of hot brown coffee and beautiful plans I lay.
Ah It midday, and my unfinished goals lay.
I'm exhausted, drained and need fresh sheets.
Yet the future has to be bright, so I sacrifice the sheets for feats.
It's like an endless cycle. Always looking at yesterday to understand the reason for today, making new decisions and planning, hoping for a promising future... That is our daily life... everyone's.

It's a fascinating contest indeed. I like puzzling with words (in this case, more characters) , although it's not always easy to share what counts most on your day. I must say you did a great job.
