Whose to Say Creativity Can't Be Practical?
Life is always full of challenges. Some may have it easier than others, but that’s not the case for most of us.
Rarely a day goes by without us stepping on some unpleasant surprises like a land mine, making life anything but boring.
But these roadblocks and restrictions are not dead ends; they are the means of a new path ahead. They are the very springboards for creativity.
After all, creative resourcefulness is born not from what is given, but from what is lacking. It is forged in a world with an abundance of struggle, pain, and everything not so nice—that's our shared human reality.
Just as when you don't have the budget for a piece of furniture you need, you learn to adapt. You might hunt for a secondhand piece, rethink your design, or build something with your own hands from what you have.
This is also the case when you can't afford therapy. You will need to find your own way to process feelings and heal.
My past experiences taught me that a lack of an outlet to vent leads to destruction, fueled by my meltdowns. It kept me trapped, unable to move on or heal, and left me to clean up the messy aftermath of my out-of-control emotions.
There are so many constructive outlets around us if we look hard enough—like spilling ink onto a page, painting a canvas, or using another creative medium.
I literally can't afford to replace the things I would break if I allowed myself a meltdown. It has to be practical.
You have to put everything to good use and squeeze every bit of what's inside you in a more constructive way.

Shortcomings and difficulties are what most encourage creativity to find solutions. This is a constant in us as human beings, adapting and evolving. I suppose that in the past it was more difficult, or perhaps easier, to innovate.
I imagine it is something that is in our DNA, perhaps a hidden function that is activated when we need to use it, but the truth is, my friend, that if we do not put creativity into practice, we cannot take advantage of it.
Greetings and blessings.
