The last clown
I have a sad memory of a fairground show that came to town. The show arrived and immediately began. In fact, the first people who attended said they liked it a lot, and that the entrance fee was inexpensive.
I remember that we got excited and decided to go to one of the performances, when we arrived at the place we stood in line and bought the tickets.
The performance was on a Saturday, at 7 at night, everything was great, and the moment of the clowns arrived, they say there were 4 but only 3 came out in scene
Some people ask about Frijolito, it was the name of the clown that was missing, and the presenter informs that Frijolito is not there that day because he was in the hospital since one of his relatives was dying.
It was a touching moment. The presenter said the show had to go on, and so it did. Life has its sad moments.

You take a very interesting approach to the post ,life is difficult, and these people sometimes have to put aside their own sadness to make others smile.
But in this case Frijolito didn't since he was absent.
He wasn't there, but the show goes on.
I doubt he cared. If someone close to you dies, the last thing you care about is your job. Most likely, he did that enough.
I think that in this life we should always prioritize, and for the clown, his job was NOT the priority at that moment, and the boss obviously understands the situation.
And that's what I mean. Who cares if the shows goes on.

I am not sure if 4 clowns give a better show than 4. It's true that the show must go on if people paid, the thing is every 2 minutes or so someone dies, not to mention all the sick ones.
