A pass on the field rain start to fall
Slippery as it is, we scored.

Thirsty as hell, the referee gave no chance for rest
An opponent best friend, bribed and begged
Each goal move he blow, we vex
The rain fell, quenched our thirst
Energy regained, we tore the net.

Hot weather, we roast, the heat is a mess
Men grow weak on the field
A run, a rest. A pass, a rest
None could run the field at full length
No goal from any end
The match ended with no cheers.

The final came the next day
Cloud seeded with enough acid
Halftime was near, heavens became dark
The outpour was heavy, calming the nerves.
