When I do some of these “trailer” reviews (as they are not movie reviews because the majority of the films aren’t premiered at all) I try to be as much possible objective in doing it… Well, watching the trailer for the movie We Summon the Darkness, I’ve had a sensation that this is more like a comedy movie and not horror/thriller as movie portals classify it. :) Anyways, it has some recognizable names in the cast, so it will get some publicity for sure, and provoking heavy-metal in the movie will attract some lovers (and haters) to take a look...

The movie follows three best friends on a road trip to a heavy-metal tour… At one of the events, after a successful concert, it turns into a deadly afterparty… The bodies start to pile up, one group is accusing a satanic cult of that, and others the opposite side… Regardless of that, the killing continues…

The movie is directed by Marc Meyers, known by movies like My Friend Dahmer (2017), How He Fell in Love (2015), or Human Capital (2019). The writer of We Summon the Darkness is Alan Trezza, who has written only a short movie named Burying the Ex (2008).
