Happy Caturday: orange cats did not like rain storms, แมวส้มไม่ชอบพายุฝน

The weather forecast did give us several warnings about monsoon storms heading our way soon. We started having more frequent rain showers every few days. Last night strong wind from Laos brought sudden gusts of wind and subsequent rainfall for over an hour. The two cats were frightened by thunderstorms and the sound of strong wind whizzing by. They both ran upstairs to hide inside the house.

Most of the time orange cats just liked to sleep a lot. They could sleep up to eight or ten hours during the day. So, I couldn’t play with them; all I could do was to take photos of sleeping cats! In the evening, they would wake up fir their dinner and a walk in the garden. I had to learn so much about cats’ nature and habits. So, I started to play with them in the evening. They probably accepted me as a very big cat. It’s always very entertaining observing them chasing each other and ran up trees to file their nails! They liked the cork trees a lot.

ในเวลาปกติแมวส้มใช้เวลานอนวันละเกือบแปดถึงสิบชั่วโมง เราจึงไม่สามารถเล่นกับแมวในตอนกลางวันได้ เราก็ได้แต่ถ่ายรูปแมวนอนหลับอย่างสบายใจ พอตกเย็นแมวจะตื่นขึ้นมา เพราะ ได้เวลากินข้าวเย็น แล้วจึงถึงเวลาวิ่งเล่นในสวนของแมวส้ม. เราชอบวิ่งไล่พวกแมวให้วิ่งแตกกระเจิง ออกกำลังกาย และดูแมววิ่งขึ้นต้นไม้ เพื่อไปฝนเล็บบนเปลือกไม้. ต้นปีบโดนฝนเล็บจนลื่นเลย มีแมวส้มคอยทำอะไรแปลกๆให้เราได้เรียนรู้ถึงธรรมชาติ และนิสัยของแมวทุกวันเลย
