Biweekly Report As Steem Representative, From 12th to 25th July, 2024.
Week 14 & 15!
Greetings everyone!
I am very grateful to the Steemit team for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to serve for the betterment of this platform and all users. This is my 14th & 15th week report after being appointed as a Steem Representative
First of all I apologize to the steemit team, I was inactive on steemit from last 18/07/2024 evening to 24/07/2024. All the students of Bangladesh have been protesting against the government since the beginning of July on the issue of quota reform. However, from last 18/07/2024, the anti-discrimination student movement started with students and police around this 'Complete Shutdown' program in the whole of Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Internet service was suddenly not available in Bangladesh from the evening of 18/07/2024 (Thursday). All types of internet services including broadband internet and mobile internet are stopped. Due to which I could not fulfill any responsibility in Steemit. And along with that I could not publish my 14th weekly report (12-18/07/2024).
From 18/07/2024 to 24/07/2024 I was unable to communicate with my colleagues on Steemit. I also tried to contact my curator team through other means but I was unsuccessful.
After 6-7 long days, internet service has started all over the country, but it is running at a very slow speed. Which is very difficult to do.
Meanwhile it is time to submit my 15th weekly report (19-25/07/2024). So I am presenting the biweekly report from (12/07/2024-25/07/2024). I hope the Steemit team will take kindly to my unwanted inactivities.
I'm working as a community curator this month and I curated five days between the 12th to 25th July, 2024. I performed the duties of the curator for the first three days (12, 15 and 18/07/2024). Remaining 21 & 24/07/2024 my team helped me. They have performed the duties of curator during my days on their own responsibility. I will be grateful to my teammates for that.
I have helped many users in the past week by guiding them in various directions. I have explored the issues of user posts in various communities. Also, as a Steem Representative, I have closely monitored the many community posts. Below are the issues I've observed users this week :
Gave guidelines to users :
I guided several users and I noticed a few mistakes in their operations. which I have presented below:
- There are some users who do not power up on time. As a result they were dropped from the club. When I come across such users I inform them about power up and its importance. But currently there are many Bangladeshi users who could not power up due to the disruption of internet service.
- I recommend that users refrain from self-voting their own posts.
- I suggested to use Voting Power and guided users on how to maintain voting CSI with it.
I also serve as moderator of communities. As a moderator, I monitor every user closely. I am very careful about checking every post for plagiarism, AI and repeated posts. I am most attentive to new users in particular. Also interested in helping and neutrally supporting all users of the platform.
- Our community is currently maintaining good activity. As a Community Admin I am trying my best to grow the community and support and help all users of the platform.
- I curate users from the official account of Steem4Professionals every day and do reviewing only once a week. New users post a lot in our community, giving them guidance and support.
- I have been trying my best to keep the community active and have organized the community team members to organize various attractive competitions.

I have presented all my activities for the last 14 days. I will keep myself more active on the platform while fulfilling all my responsibilities as a Steem Representative. I will do my best to follow the rules of this platform and am committed to help and advise all users.
