Weekly Report as Steem Representative, 10.01.2024

Hello everyone reading this report!

It's been a month and 10 days since my last report. Sorry for such a delay, I just feel uncomfortable milking the Steemit team often 😆. And there were holidays and many different troubles. But I admit that it is worth informing you more often about what I am doing here.

Everyday Activity

Throughout this period, I remained an active author, curator and moderator. I usually write about what I want to write about and very rarely participate in contests. I love contests, it's what drives Steemit forward, but I find it much harder to create an interesting post on a given topic than on a topic I come up with myself.

I continue to develop my account. Since the last report I have added:

Usually, when authors talk about their activity on Steemit, they write that they work hard, but I don't think so. Seemit is a great hobby for me and I do what I like here.

Current Initiatives

At the moment, I have two ongoing initiatives.

In the Ukraine on Steem community, I reward authors for their activity every week. I got the impression that it has revitalized the interaction in the community. This is exactly the result I was hoping for. There were fears that there would be unscrupulous authors who would spam comments, but so far this has not happened.

My other initiative is WOX Blogosphere Magazine. I improved it a bit and now provide some support to the authors. 60% of the reward from each issue will be given to the three authors whose articles were most frequently published in the magazine in the last 10 issues (20% to each author). This is unlikely to stimulate competition for the creation of quality content, but authors will be pleased to receive a small additional reward for their work.

Steem Promotion

I continue my humble efforts to promote Steem on Instagram and X.

On Instagram, I continue to create content when I have time for it. At the moment, the account has 225 followers.

Also, the fourth paid advertising campaign was recently completed. It was aimed at Canadians interested in social media and writing. I am currently fundraising for my fifth paid advertising campaign. This time it will be targeting New Zealand.

The budgets of these campaigns are very modest. They consist only of the liquid rewards I receive per fundraising post. That's why the results of these campaigns seem so unimpressive. However, they fulfill the main task - to show people that Steem is alive, there are interesting people here and we are happy to communicate.

In X, I share the most interesting posts I come across on Steemit. At first I tried to post original content, but it seems that this social network is made for links to good posts.

A Hidden Gem

Thanks to @stef1, I discovered a new Ukrainian author - @tetiev. For six months, he kept his personal blog and did not join any community. Because of this, his content was not visible and did not receive proper support. At the same time, the author was actually in the #club100 all this time, as he Powered Up all his awards. He has now joined the WORLD OF XPILAR community. I invite you to visit his blog and, if possible, show that growing together is much better 😉.

Suggestions Club

Recently, the Suggestions Club community I once created has seen some interesting posts by several well-respected authors. Every question raised is interesting and prompts lively discussion. I believe that this community could potentially become a good platform for discussing interesting initiatives and the direction of our development.

Finally, I want to thank you once again for the title of the best author of the year. To get into the top four among such a huge sea of good authors is something exceptional. I still have a hard time believing it.
