MY COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE WORK REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2021
The month of may came handy for me with a lot of real life engagements for HAACAM (Hope Alive Association Cameroon) and with some family responsibilities too. But with all this i couldn't hold back on one of my principal core values as steemit country representative for Cameroon which is to mentor and guide steemians on the platform. During this month i continued my moves to encourage person to person steemit talk in every scenario i found myself, helping existing steemians while also encouraging more and more steemians to join steemit. Considering the little hitch we were faced with as far as creating accounts for newbies was concerned, i was able to get into discussions with @focusnow and some other advanced steemians in which we resulted to using an alternative tool for account creation and after which i delegated steem power to the newbies to enable them kick start the steemit journey such as @ebuahsangsang1 and @nonche and others. Meanwhile i have have also been conspicuously present in the steem greeters team helping out in curating achievement posts in the nrewcomers community program Illustration of my report here
Meanwhile i have had some consultative meetings with @thegreens severally this month and we were able to cite out if not must of the problems being faced by steemians from Cameroon and a whole lot of recommendations as seen in his recent report HERE and HERE
PLANS FOR THIS MONTH
Contests: As mentioned is the problems raised Cameroonian steemians need more engaging and exiting contets to keep them engage and steeming. The week ahead will see the start of the Steemit Newbies Encouragement program (SNEP) to be powered by the steemit literacy center.

My personal account has also been a major tool is supporting steemians posts. It was only unfortunate that i lost my phone during the month of may as thieves break in and took it away. So i was wasn't able to follow up on my curation schedule in the community steemcurator04 whatsapp group, as there we have designed time and day for each country's turn to curate.
So far, we have just @saxopedia who is in charge of verifying achievement posts. I will use this week to learn and then effectively take up the role with the Steem Greeters’ project so that together with @saxopedia, we can be able to do more. I am also recommending that @fombae and @njiatanga should take up roles so that together with @saxopedia, we can respond to steemians’ posts before they expire.
Just for clarification, @saxopedia and i are actively working in the steem greeters team and with no considerations we are working following the rules and standards of the team. And in addition we need to bring steemians from Cameroon to understand the concept of the achievement tasks so they can be able to do them as required. Checking by you will notice corrective comments from steem greeters on achievement posts of most of these steemians which they ignored to move to the next task. I think rather we have to educate the more to be creative and follow required standards in the achievement program.
We have appointed a team of Greeter Helper to help us with verifying Achievement 2-6 but for Achievement 1 or their Introduction post, we still need the Country Reps from these countries to verify the users to lessen the multiple accounts creation by 1 person. I hope that @saxopedia and @njiatanga been doing their part in verifying Achievement1 and compilation tasks of users coming from Cameroon, and it is good to have you on Steem Greeters too for this particular task.
Right here i think it is clear as far as verification and curation is concerned, @fombae has been doing great as i have been able to curate achievement posts verified by him;
