COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE MONTHY REPORT - FEBRUARY
Greetings steemit team,
I write to present the country representative monthly report for the month of February. We have noticed some great improvements in the activeness of members of the [Steem Ghana] community. This is because, our numbers are increasing gradually. As such, it is important now more than ever to curate posts from our steemians with our personal accounts and that of our curation accounts (@steem-ghana & @steemcurato04).
We have also been quite fortunate to receive @booming curation support in our community. In fact, I really appreciate the great efforts the curation team puts into supporting the selected posts. This has really been a strong factor in increasing retention within our community.

OUR ACTIVITES AND RECRUITMENTS
This month, we were graced with the addition of 12 new recruits to increase our ghanaian presence here on steemit. We are working closely with them in order to give them a better understanding of the entire steemit ecosystem. I am also doing my best in my capacity as a steem greeter to encourage and help them complete their achievement post task.
It felt great to have another steemian from Ghana @sarkodieeric1 complete all his achievement post tasks in January in addition to @alhajibabajnr. Now with the help of some guidance and encouragement, @cherub27 is also on the verge of completion. A proper honorary post will be made in his honour after his final achievement i.e achievement 6.
- One great contest we were able to organize is that was that of the Steem Promotion contest courtesy of our very astute country rep @oppongk. Lots of entries were received in this particular one which fostered lots of engagement within the community.
- In our efforts to build our community's steem power in order to gain our own curation account, we highly encourage our members to set the 10% beneficiary to @steem-ghana. For easier understanding of how this is done, a tutorial is pinned up top in the community for easy guidance.
FUTURE PLANS
Since we are getting more steemians joining who are also inviting their friends to this platform, it is important for them to fully understand the steemit ecosystem. Indeed, the newcomer's achievement post tasks are very helpful but sometimes further clarification may be needed.
We have therefore created a new telegram channel for Steem Ghana purposely for this. We will be using it to organize meetings on a weekly basis. As a way to motivate our steemians to attend these meetings, we would be posting a questionnaire in the community and assess them to see what transpired. The good answers would then receive some steem rewards.
Recruitment is still ongoing with the hardwork of steemians such as @oppongk, @awuahbenjamin and @mcsamm. We hope to further strengthen our presence here on steem in order to reach a wider audience.
Regards,
@njaywan
