Country Representative Report, Week Ending 04/09/2022 - Club75

It is an absolute pleasure and a great privilege to have this opportunity to once again come your way with my report as a country representative for Ghana. This features my work as a CR done within the week to support my country folks.

For this week my report will be featuring the update to the new moderators for the Steem-Ghana community which is the only and official community for Ghanaians on the blockchain, i would also be reporting on my curation activities as well as my work towards club100.

The Ghanaian community has been growing for a while and the workload of country representatives was becoming overwhelming with regards to checking plagiarism, verifying club statuses and the likes in addition to activities such as curation because of which it became pertinent that leaders got support for the community.

This led to the acquisition of two new moderators in the persons of Rubilu and Abu78 who proved to be good at the work after they were allowed to function in that capacity for a while to evaluate. Once things were done I took it upon myself to reveal them officially to the community and steem leaders that they may know them and the work they are doing to support our work within the Ghanaian.

It is important we continue to help support members and encourage them to join the club initiative to help the community's growth as well as for the overall betterment of the blockchain. I have decided to change the top 3 selection from daily to weekly.

This is to ensure that a proper selection is done over the days so that the very best of the articles are selected. I intend to add some steem support for these selected members in the subsequent days to help motivate members to write even more better and quality post and also get to benefit from the joining of the club initiative.

I am optimistic that with the instigating of these changes members would continue to do more towards the club initiatives and i am keen that they would continue to benefit from the various supports available including that of @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02, Booming Support and support from country representatives.

With an effective power of 18,914.00 SP, at 100% manna my vote is worth $0.14, this is with the support of the 5000SP Delegation from the steemit team to help support my activities as a country representative. To make good use of this power i do a daily curation of Ghanaians on the blockchain.

Using the ghana tag i am able to find members all across the blockchain to support good and quality post. Curation is done with a weight between 50% and 100% based on club status and the quality of the post. This i do with of the steem-ghana curation account so members can always appreciate the help they obtain on works and motivate them to do more.

According to steemworld, within the last 7 days i have been able to support 53 accounts with 85 upvotes and i am keen that this would continue to grow as the days goes by.

The steem-ghana account remains the official curation account for the Ghanaian community with an effective power of 17,804.96 SP which was obtained as a cumulative effort from members' delegation as well as the powerup activities with which the account underwent over the months or years.

The account's voting power at 100% manna gives a weight of $0.13 which is corroborated with that of the support from country representatives to ensure that members get a worth while support from their post always. According to steemworld.org the account was able to support 58 accounts with 78 upvotes within the last 7 days.

With just 4 days more to go, i am almost at the point of realizing my goal of achieving the club100 status. With no only a transfers of 30 steem done on the 8th of June and a powerup of 315 steem backdating from the 4th of June, it is only a matter of time.

I am optimistic that with this new upcoming achievement it would be a great motivation for Ghanaians on the blockchain to follow suit and learn from me as a leader to also update their statuses. I look forward to this and i am optimistic of an amazing week in the days ahead.
