Week#1 Curation Report (July Session)| Finance & Technology | Quality Control Team| @steemcurator05
Hi steemains,
The date of July 7, 2022 coincides with the conclusion of the first week of the July session to upvote articles written in the fields of Finance and Technology, which are supervised by our Quality Control team and using the Sc05 curation account, while maintaining a level of professionalism and transparency in choosing the best posts for this week.
Our team voted this week on 127 articles out of a total of 214 participations, i.e. a percentage of 60% that is a respectable percentage and close to what we have achieved in previous seasons, although we hope it will increase in the coming weeks by the efforts of participants to write high quality articles that allow them to obtain our upvote . So, the percentage of articles that were skipped was 38%. The reasons for this skip are many and varied. We therefore invite participants to follow our observations and evaluations so that we do not transmit their articles without voting. Finally, we found 2 articles containing plagiarism and its owners were warned and defamed so that they could serve as a bad example to the rest of the individuals who wish to commit the same shameful act.
And we pass, as usual, to present the most important general statistics, which will be detailed by each voter, to conclude the report with the best articles for this week. Good follow up.
The observations of our curators :
@irawandedy 1st-day
In the curation period july 01, 2022 I have checked 24 posts, but 11 posts I missed due to some reasons, 6 posts are irrelevant to the Theme that must be curated, 3 posts have been curated 2x during the 7 day period, and 1 post curated another curator team.
There are 13 Upvotes received by users today, if grouped by language use, 11 content is in English and 1 content is in Indonesian and spain. Meanwhile, when viewed from club status, users who are members of club5050 get support for 6 posts, 3 content with club75 and for club100 only 4 posts.
No Club : For curation, I prioritize accounts that are members of clubs, and a curation scheme by giving a higher percentage of votes if the club status is in club100 or club75, but the quality of content remains an important point. I hope the curation method that I apply will trigger them to continuously improve their club status from time to time.

The quality of the articles dropped even more drastically this time and I can say this is a day with the lowest quality articles under the #fintech tag in recent weeks. In addition, finance-related articles are the most dominated in curation today as it's been in previous weeks.
A lot of articles were also skipped, a few due to improper use of tags, and a higher percentage of the skipped articles were that of the cunning artists who have been identified as farming accounts that have repeatedly been involved in repeating articles amongst their circle.
For the day, out of the total checked articles, 56% of it was skipped while the remaining percentage was curated. This implies that for two consecutive Saturdays, skipped articles are more than curated ones.
@kouba01 3rd-day
For the first week of this July curation session, I upvoted 14 articles, keeping the same cadence of the weeks before, in the other side I skipped 9 articles with a decrease of more than 36% compared to the previous week, which shows that most participants have understood what we are curating on by respecting the rules of participation.
All the articles were published in English with a percentage of 100%, on the other hand we noticed a balance between the two fields (50% for finance and 50% for tech), a balance desired before, by inviting the participants to also focus on the technology area. This week has seen an increase in the gap between items owned by club100 users to 21% compared to 50% for club5050, and with 29% for club75, and we urge users who want a higher vote to increase the value of the club.
In addition, we found only one article containing plagiarism which has the following link: https://steemit.com/hive-197809/@azeem22/club5050-or-or-ways-to-increase-sales-in-the- business-or-or-Regards-by-azeem22-or-or-03-07-2022-or-or
We also noticed a few articles with low content in terms of quality that were skipped along with 3 other articles that were suspect farming account and one article that received 3* curation for this week.

This was the very first week and actually the first experience for me for being a curator. This week was really challenging for me as on Monday it was my last annual exam. But thanks God, I have managed to curate all the post properly.
The overall quality of the posts under the #fintech tag was good. Some of the authors have done the work because they have to do it. While others have provided a good quality of posts. I checked the club status, plagiarism, steem exclusive, X3 votes, power down, etc of all the posts properly.
I have skipped some of the post because they were not suitable for our tag #fintech. Another post was skipped because it was plagiarized content and plagiarism is not tolerated at all. Also two post were skipped as the authors have already received 3 votes from SC05 within this week. Also, some posts were skipped as they were already supported by other curation teams. So these are some reasons to skip the posts.
During my curation on this Monday, I got a case of plagiarism. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited on the Steemit platform and I think it is completely immoral activity. So, I skipped that post and also shown the result of plagiarism checking tool along. I also warned the user to be aware of plagiarism. Below is the link to that post.

@ozenozge 5th-day
During this curation day, I checked 37 posts and upvoted 22 posts. Posts that were not rated were skipped for various reasons. Posts of users who had 3XSC05 votes in the past week, did not cite the sources correctly, and used the wrong hashtag were not upvoted. However, it can be said that there is a decrease in the quality on the upvoted posts compared to the previous weeks. This week too, posts about finance were much higher than about technology. No plagiarism was found on any content this week.
@pelon53 6th-day
In my day of curation I found enough posts with the fintech tag. In total I reviewed 28 posts, but only 18 posts received votes. I skipped 10 post, of which 2 post had been upvoted 3 times in the last 7 days and the users were informed.
I also found 4 posts with the wrong hashtag and sent them to fix the hashtag. Also, users who did not comply with any club were informed that it was necessary to join, at least to club5050, to be able to receive votes from SC05.
Already users are adapting to the curation system that we have been doing and it is easier to work when reviewing the publications. I noticed that there are new users joining and making posts.
@chiabertrand 7th-day
On my curation day this week, I experienced alot of difficulties due to power outage that happened across the entire city. Since I am always committed to my job, I find ways to handle my curation accordingly and efficiently.
So on carrying out the curation, I discovered that there was a drastic increase in the number of published articles this week. This might be because of the engagement challenge break.
I had to curate 25 articles of which 14 came under #Finance while the rest 11 came under #Technology. I skipped 10 articles due to so many reasons.
Most of my skipped articles were articles not related to my area of interest which is #Fintech, other articles were the ones that users are miss using(abusing club status) or don't belong to any club, other articles were good but extremely very short and lacked an in-depth analysis, other skipped articles were articles which the authors had already benefited from SC05 account 3X within 7-days
There was an increase in the number of published articles under #Technology which is great.
There was no case of plagiarism this week which is good. I hope users continue to publish original content.
I haven't noticed any new users posting articles under #Fintech. We hope community leaders encourage authors to be publishing articles across the 6 different themes so that they can be able receiving support from the different curators
Note: The curator @kouba01 has not nominated any of the best articles of the week, so 6 entries will be selected.
kouba01 said :
“Unfortunately, on this day, I did not find any great article that deserved to take the nomination. The quality of the articles was very low with insufficient content. We hope that the quality will improve in the coming weeks,however, we will continue to encourage users to be consistent in creating high quality content. The quality will stand out without leaving room for doubt.”

In the curation period Friday, July 1, 2022, I chose a post with the theme "Gala Ateung Business at My Village Gampong Kanot Aron". As the Best Post, the selection of this content as Top Post is based on the quality of the content that is educative and informative, the author writes about traditional pawnshop business/practices in Aceh that have been entrenched in the order of life. The author writes in detail about how the practice is carried out and the prospects for the benefits obtained by both parties. This is an interesting study written by him.

The author of this article today has showcased his product which is the polaroid photo printing and explained that despite different innovations these days, the demand for this photo print has kept on growing while the target audience is teenagers and young people.
In essence, it's a promotional article where the author has highlighted a few steps involved in making the business visible via promotional activities and how they have utilized devices near them (like a mobile phone) to shoot the products for promotion in the quest to enhance their reach through digital marketing.
The author has not only promoted the business but has given detailed steps on how to improve a business reach, these tips would be useful for other business owners as well. It's a great and original piece considering the level of articles received under our tag today, as such it's selected for the top spot.

The most successful post of the week was this post, which detailed the 5bilionsales application. The author describes a system where you can be rewarded by performing simple tasks given by the application. This article, which is very guiding for someone who hears the application for the first time, is very satisfying both technically and the author's use of markdowns and content. In this carefully prepared post, the step-by-step installation of the application is explained. Then, the tasks that need to be done in order to earn money are explained. The author talks about his experience here. He also mentions the risks to the application and warns his readers.
