#club100 || First Country Representative Report, Ghana || 26th July - 03 August, 2022.

Greetings to you all. I deem it an opportunity to come your way today. It is such a pleasure and with that, I am grateful. This is actually my first report as a country representative for Ghana and I am confident that it will find a good place. Taking my position as the Country Rep, I am working assiduously together with my colleague rep to bring energy and spirit to the Ghanaian community, in order to revive activeness and engagement.

My new role started with my thank you message that was written to share my gratitude to everyone especially the Steemit Team for giving me such platform to work with the Steemit body. After the news was seen by me on the steemitblog, I knew I had a great responsibility upon my shoulders.

As part of the Steemcor07 Lifestyle Curation Team, I used my account to write about the requirements of the Steemcor07 community curators and pinned it for members to know their right tags and content to use, in order to get votes from the team. This in effect was intended to urge members to write quality posts. This will lessen the high reliance on the booming and other community accounts.

Organising Contest

My first activity started with organising a contest on the steem-ghana platform. Since it is my first week in this role, I needed to hear from members the advice they would give to new leadership and what can be done to reinvigorate activeness on the platform. So far, about five entries have been submitted by members who have shared their various concerns. The contest is still ongoing and we are hoping to read more entries on that. We seek to delve into the plight of the Ghanaian steemians and what can be done to build the blockchain.

With my visitation exercises, I made sure that I visited some old and new steemians in the Nsuta Sekyere Central District of the Ashanti Region, where steemit has roots, to have meeting with them to check ask them about their worries for not writing on the platform again, how steem promo can rise back to its feet and what can be done to ensure that members stay engaging on the platform.

Quality write-ups attract steemians to have interest in the community, this sustains the community and urges steemians to produce quality post. With the use of the Steem Ghana Community account, I made sure to select quality posts with the various club initiatives as a measure towards my selection. This initiative will help members power up to join initiatives and also produce the best of posts.

Using my steem power of 4,424.722 steem, I made sure that I curate posts of members on the platform and also urge them to steem on. Also, in the comment section, I become very engaging with members and urge them to join the club initiatives. I do my best to visit the platform, vote members and give them the motivation to do their best to support activities on the platform.

Taking my role as the new country rep for Ghana, I have been using the community account to support the voting system on the platform. This is done by voting on members who comply with the various club initiatives. We believe that the steem power of the account is as a result of the accumulated steem from members of the community, therefore I made sure to use them to curate posts and also comment under them in order to urge members to know the right thing to do.

Power ups enable one to be part of the various club additions. Steem is the passport to growth on the blockchain and it is a drive that will help me to go far. It has been four years now since I joined steemit and I have not done any transfer. I am currently an ambassador who promotes club100 initiatives in all my posts. This my ways help other steemians to do their best on the platform to always power up.

Future Events

In future, leadership of the Ghanaian community will so much check on the welfare of their members. This will be effective by letting them engage in diarygame activities showing their faces and what activities they do. Accounts will be checked so as to stop farming accounts that thrive in the community. Frequent contests will come up to make the platform very engaging. Most members have delegation tags that have lost relevance and will be taken off. Moderators will be employed to check on plagiarism, content, votes etc.

Conclusion

Again, I would use this opportunity to say a very big big thank you to the Steemit Team for giving me this opportunity to work with them. With the teamwork philosophy, I will do my best with my other country rep to lift steemit higher in the Ghanaian community. I am positive that amazing things are ahead, so let us stay optimistic.
