Italy Survey: let's discuss your opinions and proposals
Hello everyone!
Last week I wrote a post in which I showed the results of the survey proposed to users of the Italy community.
In that post (which you can find here) we saw and commented the outcome of the 9 questions set on a score scale.
In addition to those, I entered 3 open-ended questions, in which I asked for ideas and suggestions both for us Italian admins and for the Steemit Team.
Since I wanted to respond adequately and also propose to all of you a discussion on some issues, I decided to make a specific post...precisely this.
Let's go together to see what are the ideas, opinions and proposals that have come out.
6 users participated in the survey. I have not set an obligation to answer all the questions, so on some we will find less than 6 answers.
In the first, I asked if there are any aspects to improve within the Community and if so, which ones.
Are there any aspects to improve within the Community? If so, which ones?

- all right
- More info on Steemit tools (I will take care of it myself)
- Try to increase user interaction through comments.
- A discord dedicated to Italy
- no within the community I don't see any problems
The total responses were 5.
For 2 users, everything is ok and everything is fine as it has been so far.
In the other 3 answers, there are proposals to improve some aspects.

Surely that of tutorials, guides and support for new users is an area to update and develop and will certainly be one of our next commitments.
In any case, if you have any doubts or specific requests, do them, so that we can perhaps provide an immediate answer to you and at the same time have a guide available to the whole community.

Try to increase user interaction through comments
Interaction is an age-old question.
It's clear that everyone likes to see posts with many comments, but it is also clear that there should not be a forcing in this sense.
Commenting just to do so is useless, I believe it doesn't generate any kind of advantage.
There were initiatives here on Steemit that encouraged the exchange of comments and I must say that in most cases these were sterile and somewhat banal conversations.
In my opinion a post must deserve to be commented, for its originality, for the usefulness or for the interest it is able to generate.
So for me the interaction is a consequence of the good work that each of us will go to do.
A discord dedicated to Italy
A discord dedicated to Italy
Not to create a Discord server dedicated to Italy was a deliberate choice.
It's undeniable that having one gives advantages, in terms of aggregation and growth in the number of users, but there is the risk that it will become an alternative place to the platform, which tends to cannibalize activities and also exchanges of opinions, comparisons, relegating them behind the scenes.
I prefer it to be all online, all here for all to see.
It is a choice that goes against the trend, also an experiment, but so far I think it has been a good decision.
The second question concerns possible suggestions or ideas to propose to the Country Representative in order to grow the Italian Community.
Do you have any suggestions or ideas to propose to your Country Representative to help the Italy Community grow?

- that's fine...we couldn't have a better one.
- No
- Giro, that idea that you mentioned some time ago, that is, rewarding posts older than a week to give them new life, bounces in my head. For me this is a great idea that would distinguish us from the others and multiply active users and quality posts and you could do a little 200% power up style by choosing from time to time the winners who become beneficiaries of the post. Then maybe to avoid post-it style jealousies you can introduce some criteria, such as who wins one week the next cannot be chosen or give preference to those who have the reputation or the lowest sp or anything else that eludes me.
- Yes, but I tell him personally
- we could do more advertising in the various social networks by creating special profiles to attract new subscribers
Here too we have had 5 responses and I would like to comment on a couple of them.

Opening social profiles on other platforms is certainly an interesting idea, probably in the future we will.
From what I have been able to learn from my previous experiences, it does not bring the great results that one might expect, both in qualitative and quantitative terms.
The only possibility we have is to work by sponsoring the pages, but for this we need to develop a sort of business plan and understand which budget to allocate and for how long.
In any case, it is a very demanding job from the point of view of time, because you have to follow and update all the pages, respond and give information to users, guide them...in short, either we do it well or it is better that we do not do it at all.

This is the answer that I like most of all, also because it is relaunching my proposal a few months ago... 😁
Seriously, I believe that one of the biggest limitations of networks built on blockchain is the time limit for monetizing our contents.
On YouTube, videos continue to monetize without limits. Indeed, many youtubers see revenue on their old content increase once they have gained a lot of following.
Why not try to revive our old posts as well? Those that we believe to be the best or perhaps that have been underestimated...
On this, we will do something 100%.
I would also like to involve Team Steemit @steemcurator01 so that maybe we can organize something globally.
The third question is about suggestions or ideas to propose to the Steemit Team to grow Community Italy and the platform in general
Do you have any suggestions or ideas to propose to Team Steemit to grow Community Italy and the platform in general?

- vote vote vote more...and obviously give priority in votes to those who are not also on Hive
- Create more educational content (I'll take care of it personally)
- In other platforms such as Torum, for example, the user is rewarded for carrying out tasks (like other users, sharing a post, etc.) in this way every day there is a minimum basic reward and users are encouraged to participate and be active. Unfortunately on Steemit you risk not being rewarded despite the quality of the posts and in the end many users give up.
- A beautiful Champions League among the communities? A nice intra-community competition, what do I know about sports predictions? Crypto Price Prediction? Or whatever, with maybe a proxy or prizes up for grabs and of course the cup badge 😁
As for me, I find all 4 proposals very interesting. They are on different levels, but they can be perfectly integrated with each other.
Here I just copied the content of the image in a part of text, so that it can be viewed by the Steemit Team.
I hope that this post can be useful to everyone.
I await your comments
Greetings
GM
