Weekly Report as a Country Representative from Nigeria
Introduction
It's another time of the week to report on how I have spent the last few days performing my role as a CR from Nigeria, definitely, I have been involved in a few things which would be shared in this piece that collates my activities over the just-ended week.

Role of a Moderator
I have served as a moderator in the Steem4Nigeria community over the week where I have dedicated a part of the day to verifying articles published in the community. In addition, I have adequately worked as a MOD in the Crypto Academy where I have been committed to checking entries in the ongoing contest.
I understand that not all users have been able to master the art of writing content on Steemit abiding by the rules of a community or the platform at large, and also the wrong use of data or information in their content. As such, some of the corrections I have made in some entries are:-
A new user who has not been verified on the platform wrote an entry in the Academy, this one was guided appropriately to the Newcomers' community to kickstart his/her journey over there.
Users sometimes failed to pay attention to the structure of their content and in some cases, you can imagine scattered content of an article with almost all centrally aligned. I corrected a few users in the Steem4Nigeria to pay attention to this.
Tagging of accounts unnecessarily- I have corrected users to stop tagging accounts (curator accounts, curator team members, community accounts, friends...) if there are no special reasons. This was not limited to the Steem4Nigeria community but across other communities, on articles, I have interacted with.

Contest- A New dApp or Content type

I hosted a new contest in the Steem4Nigeria community which seeks to hear from the audience how far Steemit has impacted them, what plans they have for Steemit and if they would likely see a preferred change or modification, what would it be. It could be a new dApp that does something new, a new type of content introduced, and so on. The contest has a total of 12 SP to be shared 3 SP among the top 4 users at the end of the contest, the best ideas win at the end.

I utilize my voting power every day to reward users that have published articles in the Steem4Nigeria community and articles published by Nigerians across the platform. To effectively carry out this, I utilize the #nigeria tag and also visit the ongoing engagement challenge to upvote their content. That said, I also upvote other users, just that it's predominantly Nigerians. See my account stats below.

In conclusion, this is my report for the just-ended week which has been utilized to walk you around a few things I have been involved in over the week. Hello, @allan.fakeer. There are a few basic things you should take note of when participating in the Academy.
Must be complying with any of the club status initiatives ( #club5050, #club75, #club100) and not using a bot. Sharing original content and are #steemexclusive.
Must be a verified and active user.
Technically, you were only active about 11 months ago and after your power down, you returned to participate in a contest about 4 months ago. In essence, you are not an active user. I will suggest you subscribe to your country's community and others, for now, keep writing quality content to prove how genuine you are then you may be eligible to participate in the Academy later.
As regards the club status, with the recent power up you made a few minutes ago, you are only qualified for #club5050. Learn more about the club status below-
Take note of a few things highlighted here to ensure you are doing the right thing. Your entry into the Academy at this moment would be considered invalid.
