Curation Guidelines by Team No. 4 - June 2024

in Steem POD Teamlast month

It's time to break my radio silence in STEEM POD with warm greetings. I know it's been a while but the refreshing alterations in Community Curator Program made me want to be a part of it again.

In the coming month of June, I will be curating along with my friends inspiracion and mesola as Team No. 4. I will try to keep this post brief, shedding some light on our curation strategies or I would say, some tips that can get you rewards.

It seemed easier to curate with as such no restrictions but after a constructive exchange of thoughts with my teammates about this new freedom, I realized that it's not as easy as it looks. With power and (now) freedom comes even greater responsibility. This might open a new can of worms abuse. However, we believe in accountability and will try our best to make sound judgements.

Since we have a lot of open options this time, I will start with what/whom

we will not curate:

  • Authors using reward-buying services
  • Plagiarised content
  • Uncredited content (text or media)
  • AI content with little or no personal effort/intellect
  • Vote Beggars
  • Spelling or Grammar Typos (Please proofread at least twice before posting. Use Grammarly or any tool if you have to.)
  • Tag abusers (It's ok if you are not in any club or burning, don't fool around with false tags)
  • We won't ask you to maintain a certain Voting CSI or any metrics of sort but if you are not interacting or giving back to the platform (mindfully and genuinely) then.. we are sorry.

What will be curated?

It's highly subjective but,

Valuable Content.

The only pointers that we can give are:

  • Think out of the box
  • Be unique
  • Be creative
  • Make an effort

We won't even restrict you to a word count. If your content is short, it has to be insanely valuable. If it's long, it still needs to be valuable.

Here's a tip - Instead of focusing on the length of the post and dragging it to a certain word count, work on its structure and cohesiveness (that includes text, visuals, messaging, and content as a whole).

We will vote with a free percentage. It will be upto the curator to choose a voting percentage based on her judgement of the content in question.

We will also support constructive and engaging comments.

Considering our diverse backgrounds, specialties, and newly granted freedom, we will sift valuable content from the entire Steem community. We will rotate shifts after every 24 hours so that each curator can equally contribute.

That's about it. I'll wrap up. If there are any questions or you find any vague point - ask away.

See you on June 1st...

Oh, I love this approach, more freedom and more responsibility! Very elegant guide, I love it, and it will be our guide, I hope it will be a point of inspiration for authors.😊

more freedom and more responsibility!

Isn't it true?

Thank you. I'm glad you like this simple guide and excited that we are on the same page as a team.

I hope to see authors striving to do better which was the whole point of revoking rules in my opinion.

I see some teams are still going with old strategies. I'm not sure what to think of that. 🤔

I so much love this approach and I am so sure you are definitely going to do quite well

Thank you for having confidence in us.

That's really great to see that you are doing a very great work in making sure that things are working out well as expected

Just making a small effort in the big sea.

Changes in the curator team and changes in the judgment of the curation team make surfing the Steemit platform more interesting. "Unique writing, creative, and most importantly keep trying," becomes unique to observe how this team works and chooses.

Then the issue of the percentage of free votes, will there be posts that are selected to get votes with a percentage of 100%? We'll see.

Congratulations to all the members of Team 4, which is filled with beautiful and strong women, I wish you success.

will there be posts that are selected to get votes with a percentage of 100%?

We haven't ruled it out. 🙂

Warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all the curators of Team 4 💐💐
In fact, I find this method of selecting a curator every month very nice. Because through this method, all new and old users are interested in staying connected to the Steemit platform.
Best wishes to you all. Keep up your good work 💐💞

You are most welcome mam

Terimakasih atas pedoman kurasi sampai jumpa pada bulan Juni.
