Country Representatives for Steemit and its distribution throughout the World 😊

Hello everybody!! As many of you know, I love Steemit, and I also love Geography (Cartography in this case), so... could there be something better for me than building maps for Steemit? I don't think so 😊.

Here you have another #mapforsteemit. This time we can see the CRs in the entire world. It's pretty cool to see how Steemit is expanding and how its representatives are coloring the map, together with the users.

Map of the distribution of CRs in the world

This map has been designed in the free QGIS software for desktop, using as a base an online satellite image from Google Earth (Google Satellite for cartography. You obtain it from QGIS and that's why I can't link it). Also, I have used a vector layer with countries around the world, downloaded for free from hub.arcgis.com.

Behind the scenes

Here's a screenshot from when I was designing different drafts to see which one fit the best, taking into account the variables used and the label sizes. You always have to make the map easier to read, and this sometimes costs, especially when it comes to such large geographic spaces (in this case the world).

I would like, in the future, to advance with the maps by region. We already have Latin America and Southeast Asia. :)
