AOA Everyone!I hope you guys will be safe and sound .My Today's post is about Dignity.Dignity is the right of a person to be valued and respected for their own sake, and to be treated ethically. It is of significance in morality, ethics, law and politics as an extension of the Enlightenment-era concepts of inherent, inalienable rights. The term may also be used to describe personal conduct, as in "behaving with dignity".
Having dignity means being treated with respect and treating others with respect.Think of pictures that show people's dignity and those that are disrespectful. If someone takes a picture of you that reflects your true self, that shows respect for you and strengthens your dignity.
An example of dignity is the respect paid to an elder member in the family. Proper pride and self-respect. The quality or state of being worthy of esteem or respect.
