Hello to everyone here in this great community known as Business Activity I welcome you all to a beautiful week alongside a great contest. today I will be dropping my entry regarding the ongoing contest titled develop an innovative idea for a tech startup. this contest has got me thinking outside the box for quite some time now. thinking of an innovative idea that will help solve a major problem in my community, and after all, was said and done, I noticed a major problem and I figured out a possible solution for this problem. sit tight and relax while I drop my entry.
HOW I CAME ABOUT WITH MY STARTUP IDEA
A start-up innovative idea is often gotten from noticing a particular that has been affecting the community in a major aspect. this problem I will be talking about has been sited long time ago and it is yet to be solved. this problem is affecting the community especially the business owners in that locality.
Restaurants, eateries, and food joints are nowhere to be found in this area and as such have been a major problem that has been affecting both customers and the business owners in the community. getting lunch on a daily is so difficult because no one has come to solve this problem. below is an image of my local area.

This is a problem that has been sited by me, it is not just a problem but a major problem, and as such, I decided to provide a solution to this current problem. by setting up a restaurant to quench the hunger of customers and business owners during lunch hour. food is vital and is needed by the body for energy. setting up a restaurant business will as well go a long way in solving the specific problem.
HOW I CAME ABOUT WITH THIS INNOVATIVE IDEA
How I came about with the business idea, talking about my sister on the present situation that is not just affecting me but the people in the community, and as such, we talked about setting up a restaurant business. with this individuals around the community can come and get their food at the particular time they want it.
Although setting up a restaurant is quite difficult, because one has to provide more than one dish in other to satisfy the need of customers but for now, starting a particular dish that is accepted and needed by all in the community is the key target.
HOW I PLANNED TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
Solving this problem requires some considerations to enable me to boost the business and get customers that will be ready to patronize my business, and these are.
- Get a good location for the restaurant shop
My first task is to get a good location for the business. the community is full of businesses as such it is a perfect location for running a restaurant business. this will not just solve a major problem but also bring me profit. I equally can go there and get my breakfast and lunch. location is needed in every business and not just location but one that suits the business.
- Make a banner for the business
The next step for this startup is to get a banner for the business, this will provide a clear description of the business location. a banner will help customers to locate your business as easily as possible. so as one of the steps, getting a banner is necessary for individuals to locate where the business is situated at.
- Create an online page for this business
In other to be successful in this, it is expected that an online page is created for the business, the idea is not to stop in the given locality but also to expand it to a larger movement. online pages will as well boost the business audience and notify various people about the business in that particular community. the fact that it is a restaurant business does not entail we remain in just that location but expanding our audience is also what we need to watch out for.
- Engage in home and office delivery services
Home delivery is also a factor to be considered. there might be cases where customers and business owners can be so busy and may not have time to come get their necessary dishes, so this is where our home and office delivery services come into play. with this, a problem is solved and it will also put a smile on the faces of our esteem customers.
The above are some factors that were considered to achieve the aim of this business.
ADVANTAGES
Certain advantages are the basic facilitators in starting up this business as seen clearly from the beginning, I stated how I managed to site this problem. below are some advantages.
Providing a place where individuals, business owners, and customers can come get their food as though it is important.
Parents that are very busy with work can as well come to get their children lunch when taking them to school. this will help them make it to work as though parenthood is quite tedious when been merged with work, so this initiative of ours will help reduce the stress every morning in other for parents to make it to work early.
Passersby like people traveling can equally stop by at any time to get food from us. often time we've had travelers from different places passing through our community, knowing fully well that there are no restaurants in the locality hurts them so much, so this idea will solve that problem too.
DISADVANTAGES
Yes, certain disadvantages are limiting the business processes and these are.
Capital to start up this business is indeed a big problem. all these things I have just outlined can not be actualized if capital is not in place. so the need for capital is highly important to run a business like this. because we need to prepare good delicacies in other to make our customers confined in us and also enjoy our meal. so finance is indeed the basic factor limiting the startup of this business.
Location is also a major factor to be considered. sited a good location is needed, for this business to be known it requires a perfect location with a good environment. also it needs aesthetic gratification. a restaurant is expected to be in a good site and a pleasant location and this is hard to achieve as though the community environment is poor and lacks aesthetic gratification.
CONCLUSION
In view of the above, this business will go a long way in solving a major problem in this community. it is essential to have a restaurant business in this locality, and I am still on the verge of processing it which I believe will be established someday.
