There are many techniques for printing T-shirts, one of the most used is sublimation, in which a heat setting machine is used, a special paper to sublimate and a computer and printer with sublimation ink, 100% polyester white shirts must be used.

Another widely used technique is that of textile vinyl, which is a kind of paper, there are two types of cut-out textile vinyl that is cheaper but takes more work and printable textile vinyl, in this we can use several colors. This technique is not as durable.

Screen printing is one of the oldest, you need frames or screens, a heat gun, plastisol or other inks, developer and emulsion and its remover.

The technique we use in Shana's design is hand stamping, because we are a brand that loves to paint. It is the least used type of stamping since it requires a lot of time, concentration and all possible care, to obtain clean and beautiful results. For this technique we are only going to use textile paints, brushes, a support to put inside the shirt so that it does not stain and a dryer or clothes iron. We also include custom remodels to have the perfect remodel combination for our clients.

With the textile paints that we use in our brand, we can paint on any fabric, we will not have problems with the colors and much less with the duration of the print since it is very durable, it could even last up to two years without dulling its color, As long as the paintings are of good quality, the necessary layers of paint are placed for each shirt color, for light colors with two or three layers of paint it is perfect and dark colors if they require a little more layers.

It is important to mention that when we use textile paints of any brand, we must always seal with heat, so it is necessary that we have a heat gun that is like a kind of dryer, if we do not have one of those guns then we will use the dryer that we use to straighten our hair does the same function, obviously with maximum hot air.

Anyone who paints with textile paint by hand should take into account that they can wash their garment calmly in the washing machine or by hand, even with a washing brush, the paint will not fall off unless they use an expired paint, so we must have be very careful with the dates of these products.

Warning

A printed shirt or any product containing hypochlorite should not be cloco washed because it will fade, stain and completely damage it.

It is always important to learn a little about the different printing techniques, since many of us sometimes need or want to paint a drawing on a shirt for our children, friends, family and even ourselves, either for budget reasons, or simply to make a gift of ourselves to our loved ones.
