Patchwok is a technique that many textile companies have been using for a long time but currently it is a trend with a lot of power in the market and small businesses, including Shana Design, are benefiting a lot from this, since for us it is very great to be able to use those fabric scrap bags that we have stored and the most important thing is that we do not throw that waste into the trash because we are reusing it to make beautiful garments, fashionable and in world trend, so its sale it will be much faster. In general, this type of work is carried out on stretch fabrics and when sewing depends on the design that we want to leave on our garment, in this case I used scraps of cotton fabric, in a black tone, an amorela fabric in a khaki tone, and also in blue tone. To make this type of tops, the filleting or serger machine should be used, since it is with this that the garments are finished with a better finish, but in this undertaking we bet on handwork, and using only a domestic machine, since This machine has some functions that allow me to make an effect similar to the filleting machine, such as zig zag stitches or adding a special presser foot to the machine for an overlock effect.
