There are two key determinant factors of sales in business.

One is the number of people buying.

I will share the second factor in my last point for ways to increase sales.

The coverage your business has goes a long way to affect your sales.

Every month, try to double your your customer base.

Try to sell to fifty persons instead of the usual 25 people.

Money is in the hands of people.

The more people you can reach the more sales you can make.

Do you know with a simple 2k offer you can become a millionaire if you can get 500 persons to buy?

That is the power of number.

It is not just the price of the product or service.

It is about the number of people buying it.

So focus more on increasing the number of people buying than on increasing price.

The bitter truth is that if you focus on increasing the price the few customers you have will resort to buying from your competitors.

  1. Utilize social media

Social media is sure way to increase your sales faster.

Remember I told you about number.

Social media gives you a platform to gather as much number of people as possible.

Don't use your social media accounts to just post pictures, jokes and memes.

People are making millions from the online space.

I remember one of my tutors saying she can earn someone's one month salary by simply putting up ads for people on her WhatsApp status.

As at then she was charging 5k to advertise on her WhatsApp status for 24hours.

Taking just 4 ads in a day, gives her 20k.

20k is someone's one month salary in some part of the country.

This is the power of leveraging social media.

What are you selling?

Put it on platforms where your buyers are gathered.

WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, even Tiktok.

Wherever people are gathered, there is money in their midst.

  1. Providing value.

Don't just approach your customers when you have something new to sell to them.

Help them solve a challenge.

Are you a wholesaler? Help the retailer by enlightening him on how he can improve in his business.

Are you a fashion designer? Help your client match colors.

When you help people solve their problems, they feel indebted to you.

Sometimes offer free or subsidized services.

The emphasis is on sometimes .

These are the little extra things you do that make your customers cling to you like a parasite.

  1. Customer retention ( Repeated sales )

Repeated sales is a prove that you know what you are doing in business.

If a customer buys from you just once and never comes back then there is a loophole.

The big money is in repeated sales.

Except your product or service is needed just once in a lifetime.

I don't see why you should sell to someone just once and be satisfied.

Reason?

It is easier to get someone who has bought from you before to buy again than to get a fresh and cold client to buy for the first time.

Maintaining good customer relationship helps to ensure repeated sales.
