Become more successful on steem, understand it using a short story

I have a really great short story that I would like to share with all of you.

So here it goes,

A monk lived in a village. It used to rain whenever he danced. The people of the village were also very happy with him. Whenever the people of the village felt the need for rain, they would just go to the monk and ask him to dance and it would start raining as soon as the monk danced.

One day four young traders from the city came to that village. After a few days of stay at the village, the traders got to know about the miraculous monk from the villagers. Young traders were not ready to believe that this can happen. When the traders did not believe, the villagers took them to the monk. The traders were still in disbelief and did not agree with the villagers but they were standing in front of the monk.

The youngest of the traders said - "Today we will dance and our dancing will also rain".

The youngest trader started dancing. He danced for 10 minutes but could not carry on and stopped to take some rest. The other trader then started dancing, but he also stopped after half an hour to take a rest. And after him, the other two traders started dancing but it did not rain. They all tried their best but could not convince the God of Rain to make it rain that day.

Now it was time for the monk to dance. The monk started dancing in front of the villagers. He continued his dancing for about two hours straight but it did not rain. Thus the monk had to spend the whole evening dancing. Then suddenly the clouds began to thunder and soon it began to rain. The four young men were amazed to see this.

When the young traders asked the reason for this miracle, the monk replied that - The first reason is that the people of this village have unshakable faith in me and I have faith in God. The second reason is that I dance until it rains. Then no matter how much time it takes to make it rain, I give my all until the villagers get what they came for.

So, the reason I am sharing this story with all of you is that it is really simple to get on a path that has great potential, but until and unless you, the doer, does not take the actions, it does not matter how much time you are on that path, no good result can come out of it.
