On the road to Boga Lake

From Bandarban city we took a long day of travel all the way up to Boga lake. The first mayor stop is Ruma Bazar. A, for tribal terms, big village where tribal people from all over the hill tracts meet to trade goods with one another. From Ruma on, you have to have a guide or you are not allowed to go any further (heck they wanted me to take a police escort, which I strongly declined). We made a stop at a small village on the road. It really felt like stepping into another time, no electricity whatsoever, no cell service, no internet from that point on. Seeing people live these relatively simple lives in the middle of some of the most beautiful nature in the world, definitely has its charms.
