Hello Every one
🌹 I wish all the admins, moderators and all users of Steem Travel well.🌹

Friends today I am going to discuss about that lost city of history Panam City. In the 15th century Ishakha established the first capital. The ruins of that city still remain, several buildings remain. These buildings bring the history to the present.

To go to Panam Nagari, the capital of the ancient city, you have to go to Mugrapara Bus Stand in Narayanganj Sonargaon Upazila from Gulisthan in Dhaka. From here you have to go towards the CNG or battery operated auto to the destination. Several buses leave every 20 minutes from Sonargaon to Panam Nagari. From here the fare to Panam Nagar is only 40 rupees. If you take a non AC bus from here then the fare will be a little less. But the passenger has to wait for a while, seeing the wife, we took a battery-powered auto. And left for Palamganj.

Then started the journey towards the ancient city. After crossing Gulistan, our car took a flyover. We started moving forward to see some part of Banga Bhavan. I continued to see pictures on the way from the tall buildings to the slums. Just as the flyovers have reduced Dhaka's traffic congestion, they have also brought a difference in travel. The distance from Dhaka to Sonargaon is only 30 km so the fare is fine. The car stops every now and then and picks up passengers. Didn't seem too bothered by short distances. The car reached the Mograpara bus stand.
Another thing I want to say is that there are no good hotels or places to eat where we are going. So it is better to eat some food from the bus stand, there are good hotels here. So we go to a hotel to have something to eat.

After eating and drinking, I took a rickshaw and left for the city of Palam. Panam city is two kilometers away from here. From here the fare is 15 rupees per person. Then we came to this rich city lost from history. Sonargaon was once the capital of Bengal, now it is just an upazila of Narayanganj. However, in just ten to fifteen minutes we arrived at this rich ancient city. Immediately after entering here, two will be noticed. Old buildings standing as a witness of time.

Entering this city, I was surprised that it was an abandoned city. Where nobody lives anymore. Only these old buildings stand on both sides of the road. A ticket of Rs 15 is required to enter here. And at the entrance of this city is a book. Where a brief history of Panama City is written.

Some time ago there were more buildings here. Most of the buildings here have been destroyed. Some ruins survive. You can probably guess how old the buildings are by looking at the pictures. And how rich it was. In this lost city, I was lost in history. The city was once inhabited by rich merchants. Today, that city is an abandoned city. Merchants poured money to build this beautiful building. and settlement of saints. Did they know that someday this city will be abandoned.

Let's know the complete history of this Panama city :

Ishakha established the first capital at Sonargaon in the 15th century. Meghna in the east and Shitalakshya in the south came from Bilet. Bileti Than cloth. And the country used to be muslin. Daily sailing boats on the Meghna and Shitalakshya rivers. As a result of the East India Company's permanent settlement, Panam Nagar was built on a new colonial policy inspired by Europe. Later, the indigo trade took over the place of the cloth trade. The British built a trading center for indigo here.

History of Destruction:

In 1971, during the liberation war, various Hindu businessmen migrated out of the country and the region became depopulated. Since then Panama City has not woken up.

Algae has accumulated in these houses in Panama City due to carelessness and negligence. Some of the old furniture is lying here and it is also covered with algae. I am ending my post by wishing that everyone will be very well and healthy.
