The Sensation of Camping and Adventure in the Mount Salak Forest - #BurnSteem25

I love adventure, since I was in school, I also often camped in the forest. Including at that time when I participated in a scouting competition which was held in the interior area. The experience from childhood gave me a passion that blends with nature and adventurous activities.

On the sidelines of holidays in various national holiday moments, I am always interested in having a vacation out of town. I usually choose to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, nature and forest being one of my favorite nuances. The most enjoyable thing is when I go on an adventure to enjoy the beauty of nature.

This is the story of my adventure camping with my friends in one of the forest areas that provides a sensation of coolness, peace and beautiful scenery. We did camp and adventure activities to enjoy the weekend. We carried out this camping activity in the cross-road forest area of ​​PT KKA - Bener Meriah, Nisam Antara, North Aceh.

We use a land that is behind a tourist spot with the name of the cottage, Alam Lestari. We camped at a location close to the cliff, a location that was perfect for us to enjoy the natural scenery, forests and hills along the rows of Gunong Salak tourist sites. Even though it is in a forest area, this location has become a tourist spot.

Usually on weekends, the Gunong Salak area is always crowded with tourists, because here there are also a number of huts, stalls, restaurants and other selling businesses. This is a beautiful natural tourist location, where we can enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city atmosphere. Natural beauty and fresh air has always been the dream of many people.

At my campsite, there is also a restaurant with the name Alam Lestari, this restaurant sells a variety of food and drinks for visitors. To get to the campsite, we traveled in the afternoon around 17.00 WIB GMT+7 from the city of Lhokseumawe. At least it took us more than 1 hour to travel by motorbike to arrive at the camping site.

As for the path that we took, it was an asphalt road, so it was easy to go through the Simpang Elak road, Lhokseumawe to the KKA intersection. We departed consisting of 5 people with 3 motorbikes that drove simultaneously at a speed of 60-80 KM/Hour. We have packed all camping equipment and including food neatly, each team brought supplies.

The location of the camp which is close to the gorge provides the sensation of a beautiful view. Arriving at night we immediately parked the vehicle, because the location of the Alam Lestari restaurant became a safe place for us to park the vehicle. We set up the tent together and ensure that the location where we will set up the tent is safe from wild animals, the analysis and observation team plays an important role in this.

We bring a tent that can fit up to 6 people, a tent that is spacious and comfortable to live in. In the evening we cook to prepare dinner. The dinner menu is chicken curry, which is prepared with special spices and cooked using a portable gas stove.

Portable gas stoves are one of the mainstays for adventurers, because these stoves are very practical to carry anywhere, especially for adventurous activities. The team of cooks takes on their duties to cook and serve dinner. Meanwhile we prepare the tent to stand firmly, including the installation of pegs to strengthen the tent poles.

Adventure activities like this require the cooperation of everyone. Everyone becomes a team that has their own role and supports each other and collaborates to achieve goals. Solidarity is needed when we are adventuring in the wild, everyone must throw away ego and act wisely to be able to lead themselves and the team.

At night the air began to feel cold and dew began to appear on the roof of the tent. This area is at high altitude, so we need thick blankets to cover and sleep at night when the weather is cold. At night and in the morning, we feel the sensation of natural sounds of nature, some animal screams, bird whistles, wind gusts and the rhythm of nature's tones.

This adventure is really very fun and gives a new experience for me. I really enjoy the natural beauty and cool air in this area. Happiness is also more beautiful when we do it and get it together with friends.
