Found a 15th Century AD Tombstone from India at the Festival

When I went to one of the people's market festivals, I stopped at one of the tents (stands) owned by the manager of the Samuder Pasai Islamic Museum. This folk festival event took place in the courtyard of the North Aceh regent's office in the Landeng area, Lhoksukon District, North Aceh. This folk festival is open from the morning until 10.00 at night.
This is a big festival for the people of North Aceh and residents around the location of this festival. The festival held by the North Aceh district government is one of the educational festival vehicles. There were dozens of tents or stands standing at the location of this event, most of them coming from school, army, police, service and government agencies.
When I left at night, I passed the main stage facing the national causeway. Meanwhile, tents were erected around the main square in the courtyard of the bupati's office. A number of residents were seen flocking to the festival area at night.
A number of folk markets and exhibitions can be found in the area where this festival is held. From the main square I headed to the tent managed by the Samuder Pasai Islamic Museum. In this tent I found information about the history of the Samudera Pasai kingdom.
A number of ceramic fragments from China, India and Vietnam are also on display in this space. There are also fragments of bracelets, glass and beads originating from the Indo Pacific, Middle East and India in the 15th century AD. A number of these ancient items were scattered and found in the pond area of residents which was a former royal place in the past.
A number of brochures and banners were displayed at this stand, providing brief data and information about the Samudera Pasai Kingdom. Here I also see some ancient items, ranging from rings, food containers, ancient ceramics, jugs, and there are also ancient currencies, namely dirhams. Meanwhile, what caught my attention was the tombstone that was displayed at the front of the entrance to the tent.
This tombstone is a replica tombstone, this row of tombstones is an ancient tombstone which in history is the oldest tombstone found in the site of the Samudera Pasai Kingdom. This is a 15th century AD tombstone from Kambai, India. This typological tombstone has carvings in the form of flowers and Arabic calligraphy.
Indeed, long history tells that India is a stream of incoming Islamic teachings to the Asian continent. The traces of Islam in Gujarat are clearly included in the history books of the Islamic empire of Samuder Pasai. A tombstone with this shape was found in the Samudera district, North Aceh, which was indeed the center of the kingdom in this region.
In the history of Aceh and India, they have a long history of Islamic civilization in the archipelago, Indonesia. This also includes trade cooperation between kingdoms which includes handicrafts and spices. In the history of Marco Polo, it has been written about the story of his journey to Samudera Pasai.
