Expedition to "Pantan Terong" Peak and Natural Panorama Along the Way

Hello friends of Steemit Travel, in this post I want to share the story of my experience enjoying the beauty of Pantan Terong Peak.

For residents of Central Aceh and its surroundings, the name of the Pantan Terong tourist location is certainly not foreign. This tourist attraction is one of the favorite tourist attractions that always attracts the attention of tourists, including myself. Even though I have visited this attraction three times, but when I go to Takengon city it is always interesting for me to make a trip to the top of this hill.

Pantan Terong is a populer tourist attraction because of its natural beauty and beautiful panoramas that fascinate the eye. I am always amazed when I visit this tourist attraction and always get an experience and sensation that is not boring. I really enjoy the beauty of nature that so enchants our sense of sight.

Pantan Terong is a tourist attraction located on a hilltop in the Bebesan sub-district, Central Aceh. The top of this hill has a height of up to 1300 meters above sea level. Because it is located on the top of a hill, the charm of the enchanting natural beauty is the part that quite attracts my attention.

To reach the location of this tourist attraction, we can go through downtown Takengon. In the city center there will be signs indicating the location of this attraction. In addition, we can also access the location of the Pantan Terong tourist attraction via google maps.

If traveling from the city center, we will be directed to go to the right and through a number of housing residents in rural areas. Although it is only about 10 Km from the city center, we will also enter the village area to be able to enjoy the natural beauty at the top of the Pantan Terong hill. Along the way, we will pass residential houses lined up on the left and right of the main causeway to Pantan Terong.

There is a road leading to this location is made of asphalt, so it is smooth and easy for vehicles to pass. However, even so, we also need to be careful, because after passing through the village, we will enter the road with terrain that is enough to test our adrenaline. On the side of the village there are a number of gardens owned by residents which are planted with various vegetables, secondary crops and coffee.

Indeed, the Takengon city area is famous for its beauty, coolness, and soil fertility for planting various types of vegetables. Among the most famous in this area are Arabica and Robusta coffee producers. Many residents here work as farmers or coffee planters as their main livelihood.

Coffee in this region is famous for its distinctive taste and enjoyment that arouses the taste buds of coffee lovers. The coffee produced from the residents' gardens here also has a low caffeine content, so it is claimed to be safe for the stomach. For those of you who are coffee connoisseurs, you must feel the sensation of Gayo coffee which is so tasty with a delicious thick aroma.

Shortly after passing through the village, I began to enter the community's plantation area. Just like the peak area, the cool air and beautiful natural scenery are right before your eyes. The road in this area starts to climb and has a steep sharp bend.

So motorists are advised to be careful and make sure the condition of the vehicle is in top condition and make sure your brakes are functioning properly. In addition, make sure that our condition is in a fit state to drive. The incline with a slope of almost 45 degrees makes the vehicle need extra power to get through terrain that tests the adrenaline of driving.

Along the way we will be spoiled with views of coffee plantations, hills, and steep hill valleys. There is also a pine forest that looks beautiful and sturdy growing on the sidelines of the valley. The sound of the gentle breeze and the singing of a number of animals that are between the hills and valleys make a musical rhythm.

The more passionate when driving, because the real beauty will soon arrive before the eyes. The vehicle's gas pull must be in maximum condition to pass through a number of difficult uphill and twisting roads. The colors green and sky blue dominate the color of our vision along the way.

After passing the road with a steep incline and a steep valley for about 4 kilometers, the beautiful scenery and fresh air are increasingly felt. The charm of nature is very pleasing to the eye and makes the emotions more cool, calm, and peaceful. The beauty and nuance that many people dream of, especially for those of us who want to get away from the urban noise.

Entering the road to the top of the hill, we will find a number of stalls and stands selling various products and services. From the parking location at the top, I had to walk past the trade center at the location of this attraction. There are various types of products, drinks and food sold in this location to stimulate the economy and empower local entrepreneurs.

Not far from the trade center, we can see a plaque bearing the name of the location of the Pantan Terong tourist attraction. Only about 100 meters from the parking area, I walked to the natural scenery spot. when we have seen the location nameplate plastered on the fence, that is a sign that we have arrived at the Pantan Terong hilltop tourist attraction.
