Hello everyone!
I am here again to participate in the contest organized by @ripon0630 and this week the contest is about the travel to moon. If someone gives me the opportunity to go to the moon, I will jump at the chance. As soon as I saw the announcement of this contest I jumped to post it. So without wasting time I am starting,
✅ If you had the opportunity to travel to the moon, what would be the first thing you would want to do once you arrived there, and why?
If I had the opportunity to travel to the moon then the first thing I would want to do after arriving there is plant my country's flag. Yes, you heard right. On reaching there I will plant the flag of my country Bangladesh first. Not many people have gone from Earth to the Moon so far. If I can ever go to the moon, I would preferably plant the flag of Bangladesh there and proudly present my country to the whole world because no one from Bangladesh has gone to space or the moon so far. My emotions are mixed with this flag, I wander under its shadow. A man should do this first of all out of love and responsibility to his country. I think I have made it clear to you what I would do first on the moon and why.
✅ What preparations would you make before embarking on such a trip, and why are they important?
It is a hard question to answer because I am not an astronaut neither I have done any courses for travel to the moon, so I do not know the preparation before embarking on such a trip. I hardly travel from one country to another country and it is about the moon or Space traveling (huh!). With my little knowledge, I would make some preparation and pack for the trip which are:
- Gather proficiency about space trips by looking over articles and if I got sufficient time, I will also do a practical course on this. It is reasonable to know different methods to survive in a new atmosphere so the sooner thing I do in preparation is to know the possible problems of the new atmosphere and the ways to overcome them.
- I will ensure adequacy of space suits and oxygen cylinders.
- I will take a camera with me. As if after landing there I could take back to earth the information about my every step and the environment there.
✅ What do you think would be the biggest challenge you would face while traveling to the moon, and how would you overcome it?
I don't know the obstacles and dangers to be faced while traveling to the moon because I have never traveled to the moon before. But fifty-two years ago, Neil Armstrong was the first to land on the lunar soil in the American spaceship Apollo 11. I will answer this question by considering the obstacles encountered during the journey of Apollo 11.
- If the speed of the spacecraft that will go to the moon does not go according to plan, I will overcome it with courage and present intelligence.
- The temperature is low on the moon, so we will take measures in advance so that the fuel does not freeze.
- The most important thing is that if any problem is encountered, it should be handled with courage.
✅ If you could bring one person with you on your journey to the moon, who would it be, and why?
Who I take with me depends on a fact. If there is a guarantee of a safe landing on the moon and a return to earth from the moon securely, I will take my nephew with me. He is only 7 years old but he is very interested in space science. He approached me about buying Periscope a few years ago. This means that he is interested in the moon and the stars. He was very happy after watching a movie "Over the Moon" released last year. In that movie, a kid his age built his own rocket and traveled to the moon. Inspired by that movie, he told me, "Let's make a rocket and go to the moon, please."
So you can understand that he wanted to go to the moon from a long time ago and once he goes to the moon his happiness will know no bounds.But if I am not assured of safe passage and arrival there, I will not take him with me. Then I would take someone with me who knows the technical issues of moon travel and if there is a problem he can solve it immediately.
