Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 9 Week 6 - My Trip My Adventure

I am happy to be here with you all in this week's contest. I have been on an adventure and it got my attention seeing this week's topic. I am so excited about the whole journey and would love to share it with you all.

Very early in the morning on the 19th of May 2023, I left for Edo state for an event with my colleagues. The trip was scheduled for 6:30 am to enable us to get there on time. Because we love African time so much, some people came out late and that made us leave so late.
The trip kicked off with a short prayer. I never knew it was almost a day's journey by land. Nobody ate before coming out because it was too early for that and after some hours we left, everyone became hungry and needed to eat. The driver was asked to stop at a bus stop for us to just get a snack and eat then continue with our journey.

On our way, I saw a lot of bridges that demarcate one state from another just like the bridge between Bayelsa and Delta state. The bridges were so long and beautiful. I also saw a bridge between Delta and Edo State. Some of the bridges were small while some were large.

There was a very large church we saw at Warri called "Mercy City", the church is so large and beautiful. It has a river inside and a boat to cross over to another side of it. It has a guest house and other beautiful things. I took all the pictures while inside the bus because there was no time for the driver to stop for me to take pictures. I captured what I could.

As the journey continued, we asked the driver to stop at a nearby eatery for everyone to eat. The eatery has no name but it is a very popular eatery where every traveler to Edo stops to eat.

After eating, we all continued the journey and now it became more fun. One of us on the bus stood up and started giving us comedy, I think because everyone has eaten so we have a lot of strength to chat and laugh. He talked so much that we had to beg him to stop because we were tired of laughing 🤣.

When we thought the journey has gone far, then the cue we met told us that we have just started the journey. We stayed on the cue for 6 hours. The men on the bus went down while the ladies were left on the bus. We all started singing and praising God in the middle of it all.

After 6 hours, we were able to pass through. We got to Edo at midnight because of so much delay. Everyone was so exhausted and needed to rest because the next day was the event. We missed our way because it was so late, we entered a lonely track thinking it was the right route. After about 2 hours, we used Google Maps to trace our way to our location.
It was an adventure for me because I things and experienced so much. The fun was another glaring thing about the trip. I am not a night cruller and I got scared when at midnight we were still struggling to locate our way.
The next day was the event and we all needed to rest so well. The event day was so fun because there was so much to eat and drink, although I had just 2 nights to spend so there wasn't enough time for me and my colleagues to explore. The period was short but fun.

When traveling to an unknown destination, we should always leave very early because from my trip, if we had left earlier, we would have escaped the traffic and also gotten to our destination on time.
It is always good to travel during the day no matter the location.

This adverse situation has created new travel opportunities and possibilities. Within the country, you can take a closer look at the places of your childhood and youth. You can get lost for a few days in the beautiful rivers, nature and scenery of Bangladesh. You can also enter deep into the village life for a few days. Or you can visit from the surrounding area for medical and health care needs.i wish you my best

It's a great advice at the end, we never know how much will take a journey just because other inevitable factors like traffic. Hola @ninapenda, un viaje muy divertido con tus compañeros, en tonde hubo muchas concurrencia divertidas que es lo mejor, que malo que el contudor el auto bus no hizo parada en el lugar de la iglesia que describe sería impresionante visitar es iglesia, pero tiene recuerdos de ella por las fotos. Tiene muchas razón lo mejor es viajar en el día que la noche.
The fun is an integral part of a trip or adventure. You can barely forget those crazy moments you had, those hilarious laughter and the cherished moments with friends. It's interesting to know that you approached your creator before carrying out your trip or adventure. These pictures and descriptions are a real definition of nature in my own light. Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip with us. I've never been to Edo state but planning to. Wishing you best of luck in this challenge

Perderse en el camino no es una linda experiencia qu digamos, pero en grupo es mucho mas llevadero. Lo mas importante fue que pasaron dias increibles con personas que aprecian.
Se rieron mucho y tienen lindas fotos que conservaran para el recuerdo y mas adelante siempre podran hablar de esta experiencia.
