Hello Everyone. I am @msharif
From #Bangladesh

Shoshan Ghat Shiv Mondir

How are you all friends? Hope you all are well. I am very well with all your prayers. You all know I love to travel so often I travel to different places and share pictures and writing about those places with you. Hope today will not be an exception. A few days ago I went to Shamshan Ghat Shiva Temple which is a temple built by Bhaol Raja.

Many of you may know about Bhavbazar how great a king he was. He built this Shiva temple because it was a cremation ground where those who died during that period were cremated. Later with the passage of time when the rajas were gradually destroyed, these all came under the supervision of the government of Bangladesh, after which they were further renovated and preserved as archeologically.

So I went to Jhorpukurpar area of Joydevpur to visit this wonderful temple. This temple was held there. A few days back when I was planning to visit I remembered this temple and went there to visit.

The big minarets of the temple were really wonderfully designed. The temple was divided into many parts. Every design of the temple was really amazing to me and worth seeing. Then I wandered around and took pictures. The architecture designs of that time were truly extraordinary beauty.

As beautiful as the temple was, its surroundings were even more beautiful. As the Shiv Mandir of this cremation ghat was built with many temples in pieces, it looked very beautiful around. After that I sat there and took pictures of myself as well as many more pictures and spent some time there because there is a pond next to it. Many people like me had gone there to see the Shiva temple and were having a great time sitting there so I joined them. I spent some good time there.

Another notable thing there is that some new temples have been built there. Where Hindus still worship and perform various ceremonies. Temples are built like modern day temples and their deity is kept inside the temple so that Hindus can come and discuss the puja. After that I spent more time there and then finished everything and came out of that place.
