Earth Day 2023 - Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 9 | Taking Care Of The Earth

Hello friends, greetings to you, and welcome to my post. I trust you and your loved ones are all doing well. It interests me today to share a post in this community on the topic of Earth Day.

What I do know about climate action is that it is an activity that contributes to understanding the causes of climate change. Having said this, climate action is taking place to protect the environment in which we are living from damage by renewing those that are old.

Earth Day is simply an annual celebration that is celebrated on April 22 to mark (honor) the achievements of the environmental movement and also to create awareness of the need for us all to protect the environment and the natural resources in it for our future generations to enjoy as well. The first Earth Day celebration was held on April 22, 1970.

During my national youth service days, I really involve myself in a lot of activities that involve taking care of others for a better tomorrow. As you can all see from the pictures below, my colleagues and I are taking care of the earth for a better tomorrow.

In taking care of the earth for a better tomorrow, we usually come out in group every Thursday of the week to educate the host community on the danger of keeping dumping waste materials closer to where humans are staying or passing by. After educating the host community, we will then begin to keep the host community clean.

The environmentally friendly products that I usually use when traveling are shown below.

Whenever I want to travel, the first thing that I get is my traveling bag, where I put all the necessary clothes that I will be using. Also, I carry my Bible and a bottle of water while traveling.

Tips for protecting the environment from trash when adventuring in nature are shared below.

• Know the cause of the damage and work to avoid such causes.
  Mobilize a team to work on erosion.
• Educate the host community on the harmful effects of air pollution and the dumping of waste materials closer to home.
• Plant trees in areas where it's necessary to protect them from destroying homes.
• Build a gutter at the side of the road to protect the road from damage.

I do strongly believe that the earth will still be good for the future. I have the hope that, in the future, the government will work towards protecting our earth, in the future, the government will work towards protecting our earth. Furthermore, I also have the hope that scientists will come up with something better for the earth.
