Hello steem environment, steem greetings to you all. Hope you guys are doing okay. It feels great being amongst environmentalists because these are people who actually truly care about our planet. I will be partaking in the steem environment logo interpretation contest and here's my entry.

Fist of all I will start with a little intoduction and from that intoduction I am going to use some key words to define the logo.

INTRODUCTION
My brother once asked me a question, he said "If you are driving through the forest and you see a lion eating a baby deer what will you do?
Obviously I said I would scare the lion away and save the deer.
He said "Don't do that. That will be disrupting the natural flow of nature. We shouldn't interfere with nature. If I'm ever in that kind of situation, I should just keep going and let nature take it's course"".

Talking about the environment is really interesting. Nature is wonderful. The incredible biodiversity, all the ecosystems. Nature is beautiful. It embodies so much flora (plants) and funa (animals) including nonliving things. To talk about the environment is always so fascinating.

My Interpretation of the Steem Environment Logo

Looking at the logo, it looks so good. It tells so many things. From my interpretation of the logo I see that it had connections with both the environment and steemit and I will explain my point of view below.

Note: The explanations in normal fonts are the explanations of the logo relating to nature.
The writings in italics are the explanations relating to steemit.

1) The Thick Outer Line

The outer line signifies the earth which embodies nature.

• The outer line also stands for the Steemit platform as a whole.

2) The Thin Inner Line

This line stands for the ozone layer which protects the earth from the suns harsh ultraviolet rays. This layer makes the earth survival for nature and man.

• The thin inner line also signifies the security system of the steemit platform which is cryptography. Cryptography protects the Steemit Blockchain transaction from being intercepted through private and public keys.

3) The Greenish Lines and Dots

That part portrays the leaves on a tree. Leaves clean our air by converting carbon dioxide into oxygen and therefore helps the environment. The dots and lines also signify that nature is interwoven. A dilemma is a certain part of nature can affect other parts.

• That part of the logo signifies the decentralized system of the steemit platform. It shows that all transactions are part of one and the same Blockchain which is open and everyone can see which makes us connected in a certain way.

4) The Dark Blue Tree Trunk Shape

This one signifies the trees planted by our community members all over the world. This is also where nutrients are stores that feed the leaves and makes the tree grow. Alot happens in the tree trunk like storing water and nutrients to make the plant survive.

• In the other sence is signifies the backbone of the steemit platform. These are the people who work everyday to make sure steemit continues to run smoothly. That is, the Steemit Team, the Steem Curators, the Witnesses, the Steem Coin whales right down to the Country Representatives and Moderators.

5) The Brown Line with the Mountain Shape

This makes us think about the biodiversity, the ecosystems, the food chains etc. It shows how wonderful and amazing nature can be. It also shows some dangers of nature such as mountain eruptions. Looking at the mountain all I think about is rainforests, grass fields, glaciers and dense forests.

• Speaking about ecosystems, steemit is also an ecosystem. It's mixed with different people of different cultures from allover the world interacting with each other.

6) Steem Environment

This is the name of the community. Every good logo should have the name which connects it to something.

7) The Steemit Symbol

That symbol stands for global warming because steem so means vapor, and vapor is hot. Global warming is becoming more of an issue everyday so we have to look for a way to tackle it.

• The symbol also talks about the steem coin. This is the reward environmental steemians get for sharing good contents about their environmental activities. This is the little steemit can do to thank them.

This brings me to the end of my contest post. I have tried to explain the meaning of the logo in relation to the environment and the Steemit platform.
