Three years later and it’s still as good as it was built: Tire Erosion Embankment
Three years ago, I built my first tire erosion embankment along a meander bend of a stream channel behind one of my neighbor’s house.
Three years and it’s still as good as if it was built yesterday. She even uses the embankment for the farming of her vegetables and the feedback from her has been very encouraging.

She says a lot of people appreciate the work and are replicating it. This work is what inspired me to initiate the Teken Field Tire Embankment Project which is going to be one of my biggest tire upcycling projects.
I’ll keep checking the erosion embankment and when it’s 10 years old, I’ll throw a big party.
