₮he keepers of earth once told a story
We listened keenly
Arms crossed and eyes fixed
To lost glories

---

Once upon a time
"time time" we echoed in unison
Itchy and expectant
Of tales to be heard

---

The rhymes began very quickly
As we wondered in amazement
Of how our home once lustered
Of pride, of elegance, of abundance

---

Decades came and went
The inhabitants therein
Our ecosystem revolving
The beginning of doom

---

Mankind must beget
Treasures of the earth
Which once shook of ambience
Yes! This story must be told

---

For we wallow in distress
In danger
Of what is yet to come
So ! This story must be told

---

Come, come my neighbours
This atmosphere that poison us
Was once a healing balm to our father's father
Come my friend

---

Now all we preach is a green environment
A green environment we must attain
But how?
These questions seems to stir me

They said the fight is not a lone one
Battalions must interfuse
To regain, all dust
For humanity, for the environment, for our home

---

The very air to my living existence stifles me
Toxic of carbon and greenhouse gases
Endangering my fragile being
Where did we go wrong?

The world has got to say something
Perhaps the globe would hear
How we have become our own enemy
How much this emmitted repercussions sting

---

This planet is ours
This planet we must protect
For we have no other home
The earth keepers ended with a sigh
