Pandeminin ilk dönemleri karantinaya alışmak hepimiz için çok zordu. Kimileri evde çeşitli tarifler denerken ben mobilya dönüşümleri yaptım. Pandemi sayesinde evde ufak değişimler yaptım. Son dört aydır bir şey yapmıyorum aslında bitirmem gereken bir projem daha var. Ben onu bitirmeyi bekleyemeden neler yaptığımı sizlerle paylaşmak istedim.

It was very difficult for all of us to get used to quarantine in the early stages of the pandemic. While some were trying various recipes at home, I made furniture transformations. Thanks to the pandemic, I made small changes at home. I haven't been doing anything for the last four months, actually I have one more project to finish. I wanted to share with you what I did before I could wait to finish it.*

Burada daha önce kitaplığımı sizlerle paylaşmıştım. O zamandan beri aklımdan hep onu boyamak geçiyordu ama bir türlü boyayacağım renge karar verememiştim. Son zamanlarda colorful tarzda evler modaydı bu yüzden kırmızı renge karar verip işe koyuldum. Boya olarak Cadence Crimson Kırmızı rengini seçtim. Boya çok ince yapıda olduğu için çok fazla boya uygulamak zorunda kaldım. Bir daha cadence markasını tercih edeceğimi sanmıyorum. Kitaplığı boyadıktan sonra üzerine iki kat vernik uyguladım. Vernik kuruduktan sonra satın aldığım mobilya kulplarını taktım.

Here I have shared my library with you before. Since then, it was always on my mind to paint it, but somehow I could not decide on the color to paint. Recently, the colorful style homes were in fashion so I decided on red and got to work. I chose ** Cadence Crimson Red ** as the paint. I had to apply a lot of paint because the paint was very thin. I don't think I will ever choose the cadence brand again. After painting the library, I applied two coats of varnish on it. After the varnish dried, I put on the furniture handles I bought.

Daha sonra aynı renk dolabı boyamaya karar verdik. Evimizin girişinde ayakkabılık eskimişti. Biz de büfe dolabını ayakkabılığa dönüştürmeye karar verdik. Boyayacağımız rengi annem seçti. Cadence - Mürdüm rengini tercik ettik. Bu boya Crimson kadar ince yapıda değildi. Kapatıcılığı oldukça yüksekti. Dolabın kapak kısmı camdı. Ayakkabılar cam kapakta hoş görünmeyeceği için çözüm bulmamız gerekiyordu. Bende internetten araştırırken hazeran satan bir satıcıya denk geldim. Ölçüleri verip sipariş ettik. Then we decided to paint the same color cabinet. The shoe rack at the entrance to our house was worn out. We decided to turn the buffet closet into shoes. My mother chose the color we will paint. We preferred the color of ** Cadence - Damson **. This paint was not as thin as Crimson. Its coverage was quite high. The lid of the cupboard was glass. Since the shoes would not look nice on the glass cover, we had to find a solution. While I was researching on the internet, I came across a seller who sells hazeran. We gave the measurements and ordered. As soon as we arrived, we painted it and pasted it on the cover. After varnishing, we attached the furniture handles we bought.

Mobilyalara biraz ara verip terası boyamaya geçtim. Bizim terasın üst kısmı daha önce açıktı. Yazın güneş yüzünden oturmaya fırsat bulamazdık. Kocaman terasta oturamayacaksak ne anlamı vardı ki? Taşınmamızdan bir sene sonra terası kapattık. Benim hayalimde ahşap kullanmak vardı ama bulunduğum şehrin hava şartlarından dolayı bu mümkün olmadı. Rüzgar çok şiddetli olduğundan terasın uçma ihtimali vardı. Biz de ayakları demir profillerle sağlamlaştırıp tepesini ahşap kerestelerle kapattırdık. Kapattığımız sene ne kadar doğru bir karar verdiğimizi anladık. Açık alanı bende seviyorum ama inanın güneşe başka türlü çözüm bulamadık. Kapattıktan sonra kış geldiğinde de terası kullandım. Ufak bir fındık sobası alıp kışın karşısında hep kitap okudum. Bazen kar yağardı bazen yağmur. Burada oturup ktap okumak benim için vazgeçilmez bir tutku olmuştu. Bu sene sobayı kuramadım çünkü çok kullanmamdan dolayı delikler açılmıştı. Zaten teneke soba olduğu için bunun olacağını bir gün bekliyordum.

Neyse, işte burayı da kapattırdığımızdan beri elden geçirmemiştik. Bende işe duvarı boyamakla başladım. Renk olarak Dyoplast'ın Sınav Sarısı'nı seçtik. Boyadıktan sonra duvarlara farklı objeler asarak süsledik.

I took a break from the furniture and started painting the terrace. The upper part of our terrace was open before. In the summer we could not have the opportunity to sit because of the sun. What was the point if we couldn't sit on the huge terrace? We closed the terrace one year after our move. My dream was to use wood, but this was not possible due to the weather conditions of the city where I live. Since the wind was very strong, the terrace was likely to fly. We also reinforced the feet with iron profiles and covered the top with wooden timbers. In the year we closed, we realized how well we made the right decision. I also love the open space, but believe me, we couldn't find any other solution for the sun. After closing it, I used the terrace when winter came. Buy a little nut stove. Sometimes it snowed, sometimes it rained. It was an indispensable passion for me to sit here and read books. This year I could not set up the stove because holes were drilled due to my heavy use. I was waiting for this one day, as it was a tin stove anyway.

Anyway, we haven't overhauled this place since we closed it. So I started with painting the wall. We chose Dyoplast's Exam Yellow as the color. After painting, we decorated it by hanging different objects on the walls.

Son olarak boyadığım mobilya ufak büfe oldu. Koyu kahve bir rengi vardı. Henüz okumadığım kitapları koyacak yerim olmadığı için bu dolabı okunmamış kitapları koymak için kullanmaya karar verdim. Boya olarak ; Artdeco - Kaktüs Yeşili rengini kullandım. Yakışacağını düşündüğüm için altın renk mobilya kulp taktım.

Karantina sürecinde ben vaktimi bu şekilde değerlendirdim. Hem eğlenceli vakit geçirdim hem de bir şeyler ürettiğim için mutlu oldum. Belki sizlere fikir olur diye de burada paylaşmak istedim. Okuduğunuz ve desteklediğiniz için şimdiden teşekkür ederim.

Finally, the furniture I painted was a small buffet. It had a dark brown color. I decided to use this closet to store unread books as I had no place to store books I haven't read yet. As paint; I used the color ** Artdeco - Cactus Green **. I put on gold furniture handles because I thought it would look good.
