Tokyo, My Love (a little picture collection of one of my favorite cities) =/= Tokio, meine Liebe 👹🍣🎎 My Japan ENG-GER
東京 Tokyo
The very first time I visited the Japanese capital Tokyo was way more than 10 years ago, and it was frickin hot and humid. But I already felt in love with that city and I have come many times to catch up with friends and strangers or to just stroll around and explore some new places.
I have taken countless pictures, famous and popular sights or just things which caught my attention and made me curious. Pictures and memories need to be shared, so I thought I will start posting some selected Tokyo shots today. It is quite a mix of different places and situation to try to catch the atmosphere of that great city.
DEUTSCH
Even at the end of April, you can find late-blooming cherry trees. A nice contrary to the big city scenery.
Sensoku-ike station, a rather local place but not far from the city center.
A temple in Ikegami, and some of it's inhabitants ;)
Cars don't have to be big --- Autos müssen nicht immer groß sein
The lights of Shinjuku, bright and colorful and somehow confusing.
Shibuya crossing, captured on myriads of photos and always exciting to see.
Inside Shibuya station, getting a ticket is actually easier than you might think.
The stimulate all senses we also need some pictures of some nice Japanese treats. Fried and grilled chicken and or course some assorted Sushi. Tokyo you are awesome!
City lights seen from Odaiba, Rainbow Bridge and the city skyline. Yes I'm longing to see you again!
I hope you enjoyed today's little excursion. I will come back and take you on another tour, there are still many places and impressions I want you to show.
