The Sardinian Warbler (Curruca melanocephala) is a common warbler found in open countryside. It makes its nests in bushes, laying three to six eggs that are white with brown speckles.
The male and female are distinctly different in colour, the male being grey backed, black headed with a whitish chest and red eyes.. The female being mostly brown with buff coloured chest and the same red around the eyes.

A delightful pair to come across always.
